Exactly one year ago today, just after lunchtime, one of the pivotal moments in Celtic history occurred. Neil Lennon took his Celtic team to Kilmarnock, who had lost their three previous league games, and for 73 minutes looked like surrendering their league title chances just as Tony Mowbray’s team collapsed at St Mirren Park seven months earlier.
The manager later admitted to thoughts of resignation. 3-0 down at half time while already in heavy deficit to Rangers, who were riding a wave of positivity under the reinvigorating ownership of Craig Whyte, events looked to have escaped Neil’s grasp.
It is tempting to write the narrative that a half time talk or tactical change turned things around but turnaround was more difficult to explain. Celtic were awful for the opening 28 minutes of the second half; like condemned men waiting for the inevitable.
Anthony Stokes started the recovery by exploiting Kilmarnock’s weaknesses. A free kick drifted over a wall which didn’t jump and into the net. Had the wall jumped, would history have been different? Three minutes later Stokes fired into the corner of the net from distance, Jaakkola in the Killie goal was not equal to the challenge. Suddenly, we were back in the game, back in the title race.
Charlie Mulgrew, who erred to gift Kilmarnock their third, equalised with 11 minutes remaining, surely there was only one winner now? Not so, images of Heffernan’s last minute header from inside the Celtic six yard box gliding over remain vivid.
We escaped with a draw but it felt like a stay of execution, not a pivotal moment. Neil didn’t resign, he stayed, beat Stade Rennes in the Europa League and never looked back. The imperious positivity which surrounded Craig Whyte was ultimately proven to be a charade, those of us who told you Rangers were in peril were proven correct.
It is impossible to calculate just how much football has changed since Anthony hit that free kick, although imperious positivity still surrounds a charade which is doomed to fail, leaving a lot of football fans out of pocket. If only the football authorities had a warning from recent history that light-touch regulation is dangerous, or had the mechanism to order a financial audit. They do, of course, but despite the traumas of 2012 I doubt they have the appetite to head-off potential problems. It’s easier (in the short term) to hope everything will turn out well.
Not that you need worry about any of this, you can chill and enjoy the season.

Number 10 insisted that allowing Scottish 16-year-olds to vote in the independence referendum would not lead to 16-year-olds being allowed to vote in general elections. “The government has no plans to change the voting age,” the spokeswoman said. “This particular aspect is specific to the referendum question.” But she did not have a particularly good answer to the question about why 16-year-olds should be allowed to vote in what the government says is “the most important decision [for Scotland] for 300 years” but not in more routine elections.
(!!!)
Is it just me, or is allowing 16-17 yr olds a vote in probably the most important decision in 70 years a complete abnegation of democracy?
Leaving aside the fact that most 16-17 yr olds’ stake in society hasn’t even been hewn from its tree yet, they will be far more likely tovote for Salmond – he, after all, will be seen as the one who gave them the vote.
How in the name of Holy Funk has this happened?
Wow. I can see you’re all as outraged as I am. :-)

Sadly, the TV appearances have resulted in the resident Dalek expert taking himself seriously.
That illusion is shattered when he goes public with his thoughts.

If you mail me at hamiltontim@hotmail.co.uk I can deal with the auction prize.
If it’s tickets etc for the event itself then follow Lennybhoy’s instructions.
up_over_goal – In this country you can marry and fight for your country when you are 16. With that in mind I don’t see why they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. They are considered “adult” in those other ways.
The fact he is just wanting it for this one issue is utterly transparent and will be used against him during the campaign.
I think they will underestimate the 16-17 year olds. Not as many of them as they think will be swayed by the Braveheart re-runs and FREEDOM rhetoric. They are more than capable of absorbing facts and making up their own minds minus shameless propaganda.
hi
anyone know if theres a supporters bus going to barca game from the Salou area?
BB
tigertim-Cheers,I seen The Stones for free at Hampden 2006,unbelievable stuff.£106 ? kickin the backside out of it,they always sell their tours as a last chance to see ………..
the very fact that football is being allowed to be played out of ibrox is all the proof you need that they have indeed got away with it,for what that mob did for decades maybe longer
that ground should have been sold off to pay somthing back to
creditors.
Bada
You have a point re ‘last chance’ theme but I don’t think even Mick the lips thought that he would last this long ;-)
HT-I think touring is actually keeping them going,to be so active at their age, with the amount of previous excesses is remarkable.
BIGbones8867 – no idea of the buses but have caught the train before. Cheap and punctual as I remember.
Just listened to 5-Live there. Richard Bacon, whose show I like, just had a discussion with an expert on contitutional whatnot, who sounded English.
His constant use of ‘they’ and seeming to forget that he works for a UK ‘national’ broadcaster and therefore is being beamed out to ‘them’ are part of why I am a seperatist, and always have been.
Shallow? mibbees aye.
BIGbones8867 – no idea of the buses but have caught the train before. Cheap and punctual as I remember.
TTLT
cheers, its getting back after the game,
heard the last train is about 10pm.
BB
Read the ET guff from Lindsay there – this is panning out gloriously.
Years of further side-splitting laughter lie ahead for us.

In this country you can marry and fight for your country when you are 16. With that in mind I don’t see why they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. They are considered “adult” in those other ways.
Yes (although I personally think you shouldn’t be allowed to do any of the above when you are 16). I have an open mind on the subject of lowering the voting age, but lowering it for this particular vote is wrong, as it will skew the vote in favour of Independence – Salmond will be seen as the man who gave it to them, and hence they will be far more likely to view his arguments favourably.
I think they will underestimate the 16-17 year olds. Not as many of them as they think will be swayed by the Braveheart re-runs and FREEDOM rhetoric. They are more than capable of absorbing facts and making up their own minds minus shameless propaganda.
I disagree. Most 40-50 yr olds are unable to see through rhetoric, but at least they have an interest in a stable economy. When you’re that young, everything is a bit of a laugh, and you have little conception of how such a change would affect your life or the lives of those around you.
For a decision such as this, people need more than the current ‘Just dae it’ soundbites and one-upmanship that qualify as Scottish political discourse (not helped by the worst opposition since the parliament began). Are we ever likely to see or hear two politicians genuinely debate the economic detail? Lowering the voting age is a step in the wrong direction.
up over goal .
At 16 ———
You can work .
You can pay tax .
You can get married .
You can join the armed forces and do your thing for wee Brenda .
etc etc
Why shouldn’t you be allowed to vote .?.
I’m 62 -I have never voted —— I’m of the none of them / it only encourages them / it’s like sheep choosing their butcher -persuasion..
If I had to —— I’d vote No !

It’s not finished yet … by a long way.

You may well be right, the buzz keeps them kicking!
Not their biggest fan but as they were the first band I ever saw live I’ve retained a fondness for them.
However, no so fond that I’ll fork out £106 ;-)
Questions related to Scotlands Zombie club
Section 1. SFA governance, administration and accountability
Are there any other SFA employees or officials past or
present apart from Campbell Ogilive who received EBT´s.
If so who and why did they receive them ?
Did any referee or member of the refereeing committee
in Scotland get EBT payments from Rangers FC either
directly or indirectly ?
Who in the SFA whom were not recipients of EBT’s knew
about them ?
What Rangers employees have been recipients of Rangers
funds not disclosed to the SFA ?
How did Rangers FC manage to get an approved license
from the SFA while trading insolvently and especially
as the “wee tax case” was still outstanding ?
When will Grant Thornton(accountant) be asked to explain
his company signing off Ranger FC Accounts ?
Are any members of the SFA committees or refereeing
committee ”MEMBERS OF A SECRET SOCIETY ?
If yes is it the same secret society ?
Will the SFA publish all the correspondence between
the SFA and Rangers concerning Rangers’s use of EBT’s ?
Will the SFA confirm they have carried out the
necessary checks on all members of the consortium that
hold the licence of The Rangers and it was to their
satisfaction ?
When Rangers FC were clearly in financial difficulties,
what steps were taken to get the EBT loans repaid ?
Was any advice offered by anyone who knew both sides
of the story exactly, somebody like Campbell Ogilvie ?
If not then why not ?
Were any steps taken at all to call back loans ?
If not then why not ?
Who at the SFA were complicit either by either
actively helping or turning a blind eye to the EBT
scam ?
How exactly did the SFA managed to give Sevco a
License without passing the proposal through their
respective boards ?
What outside political pressure (i.e non footballing
entities) has been employed during the entire Rangers
liquidation affair and how did this influence subsequent
behaviour and decisions ?
Were these illegitimate meetings minuted and documented ?
What priorities were given precedence by the SFA over
these external influences ?
Was this political interference immediately reported to
UEFA ? If not why not ?
Who within the SFA initiated or helped with the failed
first attempt to parachute Rangers FC into SFL1
i.e ‘make this all go away for the ‘cost of some titles
and cups’ idea ?
Why was Stewart Reagan (the Chief Executive of the SFA)
present at the meeting of the SFL clubs to decide which
league “Rangers” should be placed in?
Has detailed minutes been taken over such an historic
initiative when the inevitable Rangers liquidation was
being discussed and decided upon ?
If they haven’t, was there an independent body there
to observe and to detail who was present considering
the momentous decisions being discussed, i.e. kicking
a cheating club out of the game?
If so then where and when can we view the information
of what exactly was discussed in these crucial meetings ?
Why is EBT beneficiary and Head of the SFA Campbell
Ogilvie still employed by the SFA ?
How can the Scottish public be rest assured that
Campbell Ogilvie has indeed taken a back seat in matters
pertaining to Rangers FC & Sevco considering he presided
as Director/Treasurer over possibly the biggest ever case
of sporting malfeasance by anyone in the history
of sport ? His defence of ignorance of wrong doing is not
credible. His statement that he felt that he hasn’t been
doing his job since February is therefore more
unacceptable.
When did he ever, other than preserving the continuation
of Rangers FC, did his job as set down by the statutes of
the association that he is head of ? and does the lack of
any coherent action not bring charges of bringing the
game into disrepute directly onto the SFA itself ?
And if it does .. who handles this charge ?
Is it known now by the SFA that Sir David Murray
habitually lied to them and of so why have they
never intimated that knowledge to the Scottish public ?
Will an independent body eventually be appointed to
investigate how the SPL handled Rangers liquidation
and can we get assurances that this will not be buried
under any new possible league reconstruction ?
How much exactly or approximately did Rangers FC benefit
financially from the kickback from the EBT ‘loans’,
i.e. how much sponsorship, winnings, etc over and above
their inherent turnover, did they gain from it ?
When without the EBT usage and associated benefits
(as above, winnings, CL money etc), would Rangers FC
been declared bankrupt ?
Why ? When it was apparent that vast quantities of
external revenues were being used to finance the
Ibrox club (Dave King, Joe Lewis/ENIC, JJB, NTL, MIH
write-down, etc, etc, etc) did nobody in the SFA ever
demand reassurances when things started looking bleak
when Lloyds arrived to take over the financial dealings
at Rangers ?
The 25m pound wage that Dave King picked up via EBT 6
months after joining Rangers, why were the SFA content
with this transaction ?
How would any of the former Rangers board who insisted
that “the debt was coming down” when Craig Whyte took
over (which of course it wasn’t – it was skewed by 2
years of CL money) have funded the club in the 2011/12
season and why did the SFA not seek any financial
assurances then ?
In the narrative of the SFA accounts for 2007 and 2008
there is no reference to Smith leaving never mind
compensation. Accounts have been approved by Messrs Peat,
Ogilvie, McCrae and G Smith.
Did Rangers FC ever pay the SFA compensation when
Walter Smith walked away from the Scotland manager’s job?
If not why has this never been reflected in any accounts ?
What does Charles Green know about CO & other SFA
members that permits him to act without fear of
consequences of his actions within the SFA
organisation ?
Does the SFA find the Ibrox crossbar challenge an
acceptable development ?
Why is the SFA not insisting that Sevco pay their
domestic and European football debts before spending
money on anything else ?
When will the SFA act on the repeated illegal and
provocative behaviour of Sevco fans ?
How exactly did the SFA manage to give Sevco a License
without passing the proposal through their own board
bearing in mind what happened with Craig Whyte and his
outstanding fine ?
Why has Sevco consistently been given higher grade referees
for their matches compared to their division 3 counterparts ?
Section 2. SPL governance, administration and accountability
Are there any SPL employees or officials past or present
apart from Martin Bain and John Mc Clelland who received
EBT´s ? If so who are they and why did they receive them ?
Who at the SFA were complicit either by either actively
helping or turning a blind eye to the EBT scam ?
Why were non-employees of Rangers FC receiving loans
from a Trust set up for the benefit of said club
receiving EBTs and the SPL were unaware ?
How exactly did the SPL manage to give Sevco a License
without passing the proposal through their own board ?
Who within the SPL initiated or helped with the failed
first attempt to parachute Rangers into SFL1 i.e
‘make this all go away for the cost of some titles
and cups’ idea ?
Has detailed minutes been taken over such an historic
initiative when the inevitable Rangers FC liquidation
was been discussed and decided upon ?
If you haven’t, was there an independent body there to
observe and to detail who was present considering the
momentous decisions being discussed, i.e. kicking a
cheating club out of the game ?
If so then where and when can we view the information
of what exactly was discussed in these crucial meetings ?
Why was Neil Doncaster (the Chief Executive of the SPL)
present at the meeting of the SFL clubs to decide which
league “Rangers” should be placed in ?
Which persons working within the SPL organisations past
or present have received a Rangers FC EBT ?
Why when it was apparent that vast quantities of external
revenues were being used to finance the Ibrox club
(Dave King, Joe Lewis/ENIC, JJB, NTL, MIH write-down, etc)
did nobody in the SPL ever demand reassurances when things
started looking bleak when Lloyds arrived to take over the
financial dealings at Rangers ?
Did anyone at the SPL ask to clarify the situation at
Rangers when Walter Smith said (in October 2009) that
the bank was “running the club” ?
Will an independent body eventually be appointed to
investigate how the SPL handled Rangers liquidation and
can we get assurances that this will not be buried under
any possible future league reconstruction ?
What is taking the independent SPL commission chaired by
Lord Nimmo so long ?
When without the EBT usage and associated benefits
(winnings, CL money etc), would Rangers FC been declared
bankrupt ?
Have other SPL clubs been fully investigated with regards
to EBTs and second contracts ?
Did the SPL use any of Rangers FC prize money as funding
for the new improved parachute deal for Sevco that the
SFL received ?
If not then where did this money come from ?
What will eventually be done with the Rangers FC prize
money considering that they cheated to win it ?
Section 3. SFL governance, administration and accountability
Are there any SFL employees or officials past or present
apart who received EBT´s ?
If so who and why did they receive them ?
How exactly did the SFL manage to give Sevco a full
membership and not an associate membership against all of
their own statutes ?
Who within the SFL initiated or helped with the failed
first attempt to parachute Rangers into SFL1 i.e
‘make this all go away for the cost of some titles
and cups’ idea ?
How exactly did the SFL manage to give Sevco a license
so easily having never done this previously ?
Has detailed minutes been taken over such an historic
initiative when the inevitable Rangers liquidation was
been discussed and decided upon ?
If you haven’t, was there an independent body there to
observe and to detail who was present considering the
momentous decisions being discussed, i.e. kicking a
cheating club entirely out of the game ?
If so then where and when can we view the information
of what exactly was discussed in these crucial meetings ?
Why was Neil Doncaster & Stewart Reagan(the Chief
Executives of the SPL & SFA) present at the meeting of
the SFL clubs to decide which league “Rangers” should be
placed in ?
How much more money did the SPL & SFA have to promise
the SFL to allow Sevco direct entry into the SFL ?
Will an independent body eventually be appointed to
investigate how the SFL handled Sevco´s admittance to
the Scottish Football league as a full member and what it
cost top level Scottish football ?
Why were no non-league clubs offered the chance to apply
for the vacant place in the league following Rangers’
liquidation?
Can we also get assurances that this will not be
buried under any new possible league reconstruction ?
Section 4. Rangers FC governance, administration and accountability
How much exactly or approximately did Rangers FC
benefit financially from the kickback from the EBT
‘loans’, i.e. how much sponsorship, winnings, etc
over and above their inherent turnover, did they gain
from it ?
When without the EBT usage and associated benefits
(as above, winnings, CL money etc), would Rangers FC
been declared bankrupt ?
Is it possible to see a comprehensive list of all
EBT recipients if the FTT goes against the former
club known as Rangers FC ?
What criteria was used to decide who were to be
EBT recipients ?
Who set this and who administrated it ?
How would any of the former Rangers board who insisted
that “the debt was coming down” when Craig Whyte took
over (which of course it wasn’t, it was skewed by 2
years of CL money) have funded the club in the
2011/12 season ?
Who were the other EBT recipients ?
When employees received the net payment were they
given paperwork that qualified that; tax, PAYEE, N.I.
had been deducted at source ?
More to the point – why would tax and NI be relevant
to a loan ? since these were loans not payments ?
Did employees personnel accountants submit that same
information (that they were possibly given) to HMRC
when completing their annual tax returns ?
Did your agent do likewise when he received his
percentage fees ?
When they received the net payment were they given
paperwork that qualified that; tax, PAYEE, N.I. had
been deducted at source?
How do you equate Sir David Murray saying the EBTs were
non-contractual with Billy Dodds saying he received his
EBT to pay his contract up?
Was one of Walter Smiths EBTs used to induce him away
from the Scotland national job ?
Were past managers and no longer employees of Ranger
paid EBT´s as bungs during player transfer negotiations ?
How much money did Sir David Murray invest into
Rangers FC ?
How much money did Sir David Murray pay himself
from Rangers regardless of method ?
The 25m pound wage that Dave King picked up via EBT 6
months after joining Rangers, is this transaction
officially documented and why were the accountants
contented with this transaction ?
Did any member of the media get payments as an “outside
source” either via EBT or gift inducement ? and if so why ?
Did any football official get payments as an “outside
source” either via EBT or gift inducement ? and if so why ?
Did anybody get payments as an “outside source” either via
EBT or gift inducement ? and if so why ?
Does Ibrox have a current, valid safety certificate?
Have any surveys been conducted at Ibrox for the presence of
hazardous + deleterious materials (eg Asbestos), and if so;
Are occupants considered to be at risk ?
Has any remedial action been planned ?
What is the current market value of Ibrox?
How did you, Sevco + Duff & Phelps agree on valuations that
differed slightly from Sir David Murrays 120m valuation?
Why was precedence placed on keeping valuable assets i.e the
players and reducing their contracts to a worthless sum
rather than selling the players for their market worth to
help satisfy creditors ?
What did Ally Mc Coist whisper in our Champions League
managers ear ?
Section 5. UEFA governance, administration and accountability
Does the fact that Sevco now exists and plays professional
football render the FFP initiative redundant ?
Why does UEFA not care about monies that were NOT spent to
ensure spectator safety (Taxes, Police, ambulance etc) ?
Is this an acceptable precedent ?
At what point will UEFA take an active role with the
present malaise that is Scottish football ?
Does UEFA recognise Scottish football is in a malaise due to
the failures of the Scottish football association ?
How can UEFA hope to implement any of its FFP policies if it
continues with a hands off policy regarding failing national
associations ?
Has any UEFA employee ever received and EBT from Rangers’s
employment benefit trust ?
If the answer to the above is yes. Then who and does this
help to explain UEFA´s non committal stance with regards
to tackling the malaise that Scottish football is in right
now ?
Section 6. Sevco, administration and accountability
Why did Sevco pay £140k of creditors money to public
relations companies since Feb ?
Why have the ECA been very reticent to discuss Sevco ?
Does Ally Mc Coist have a 5% share in Sevco and can
he prove that he paid for it ?
What happened to the `Fighting Fund’ monies that were
pledged ?
What happened to the Milan friendly match charity
proceeds ?
Has Charles Green got enough to cover costs until
Christmas ?
How much has been earned from crossbar challenge and
what is that money being used for ?
Why did Green have such a high profile meeting with
Loyalists in Belfast?
What specific services did Media House provide for
the £140k ?
How can a club lose £4m in administration – I thought
that administration was to be run at a break even basis
including D&P costs ?
What is the current market value of Ibrox?
How did you, Sevco + Duff & Phelps agree on valuations that
differed slightly from Sir David Murrays 120m valuation?
What happened to the proposed litigation that you wanted to
take against the BBC ?
Section 7. Duff & Phelps governance, administration and accountability
Where is Lord. Hodges report ?
Who owns the deeds to Ibrox ?
How much Rangers FC funds have been transferred to Sevco ?
The Duff & Phelps & Grier & David Murray connection. How
can you explain this relationship and is it legality ?
What is the situation with the Ticketus 27m loss ?
Was there any communication ever between Murray and
Ticketus ?
Why were assets valued at £140 million sold for £5 million
that no one else has had the chance to procure ?
Why did you still try to sign Cousins with creditors money
when the club had already gone into administration ?
How much is currently being paid to Ticketus ?
What is the current market value of Ibrox?
How did you, Sevco + Duff & Phelps agree on valuations that
differed slightly from Sir David Murrays 120m valuation?
Why was precedence placed on keeping valuable assets i.e the
players and reducing their contracts to a worthless sum
rather than selling the players for their market worth to
help satisfy creditors ?
What happened to the proposed litigation that you wanted to
take against the BBC ?
Section 8. HMRC governance, administration and accountability
Will all ex players of rangers who received EBT loans be
asked to pay them back ?
Why did they ever think a non-repayable tax free “loan”
was legal ?
Were they advised badly ? If yes by whom ? and was it
systematic ?
Are they willing to repay the loan, or at least the tax
payable on it ? as it was never a loan ?
When will the FTT result be in and what is causing the
massive delay ?
What was said between Alex Salmond and the tax authorities,
that if disclosed would cause a cross border incident and
was this meeting minuted ?
Were Ticketus conned ?
Is the Octopus a Ponzi ?
Will HMRC publish all correspondence between themselves
and all MSP’s and Westminster’s MP’s ?
Section 9. BDO governance, administration and accountability
When do you start ?
What is the delay ?
Was there ever any communication ever between Murray
and Ticketus ?
Was there ever any communication ever between Murray
and Ticketus
Were Ticketus conned ?
Is the Octopus a Ponzi ?
Section 10. Media reporting and accountability
What happened to the second part of the BBC documentary
that Mark Daly promised ?
Why ? When it was apparent that vast quantities of
external revenues were being used to finance the Ibrox club
(Dave King, Joe Lewis/ENIC, JJB, NTL, MIH write-down etc.)
did nobody in the media ever question the possibility of
money laundering when they never actually moved forward ?
When will the media start to report honestly on the repeated
illegal and provocative behaviour of Sevco fans ?
When Craig Whyte was first being showboated by the Scottish
media, no information was released by the media about Sir
David Murray himself, However the day after Craig Whyte
bought them Sir David Murray had announced his engagement
to his fiance it made front page news on the red tops.
Was this an early indication of how the Scottish media
would play the Rangers takeover and inevitable liquidation
out ? If so how was this decided upon … is this strategy
minuted anywhere ? And how did competitors all agree upon
the exact same strategy ?
The Duff & Phelps & Grier & David Murray connection why
was it never further investigated when it was revealed ?
Will the NUJ investigate the journalistic standards of;
The Daily Record, The Sun, The Herald, Evening Times,
The Scotsman, BBC Scotland, STV, Radio Clyde, Scottish

Rangers administration and liquidation ?
Were Ticketus conned ? Why has this never been
investigated or reported ?
Is the Octopus a Ponzi ? Why has this never been
investigated or reported ?

when he has been compromised by being seen in public
with Sir David Murray and Walters Smith while having
to issue personal apologies to Peter Lawwell through
his newspaper at the same time ?

full time , part time or contract basis ? and why ?
Why is every Rangers match televised and how much have
Rangers & Sevco earned from live TV coverage compared to
other SPL clubs ?
Section 11. Police accountability
Why ? When it was apparent that vast quantities of
external revenues were being used to finance the Ibrox
club (Dave King, Joe Lewis/ENIC, JJB, NTL, MIH write-down
etc), did nobody in the police ever question the
possibility of money laundering ?
When will the police start to act and report honestly
on the repeated and provocative illegal behaviour of
Sevco fans ?

not ?
Are the police happy with all safety aspects regarding Ibrox
stadium and are content that it meets all the necessary legal
criteria to stage well attended football games ?
Section 12. Green Hornet
Why ? When it was apparent that vast quantities of
external revenues were being used to finance the Ibrox
club (Dave King, Joe Lewis/ENIC, JJB, NTL, MIH write-down)
did ever the question arise that an obvious money
laundering scam was possibly in place ?
Who is Charles Green working for ?

business ?

Fife banker and not a porno star ?
Was there any communication ever between Murray
and Ticketus ?
The Duff & Phelps & Grier & David Murray connection.
At what point was this known to the financial
authorities ?
How much did Sir David Murray receive from two Scottish
Banks ?
How much money did these two Scottish Banks receive
from the UK taxpayer ?
Were Ticketus conned ?
Is the Octopus a Ponzi ?
How much exactly or approximately did Rangers FC
benefit financially from the kickback from the EBT
‘loans’, i.e. how much sponsorship, winnings, etc
over and above their inherent turnover, did they gain
from it ?
Section 13. Scottish Courts
Where is Lord. Hodges report and what is the status
of it ?

paid super star Andy Goram could only pay an issued
fine with minimal installments ?

paid super star Lorenzo Amoruso could only pay an
issued fine with minimal installments ?
Why were suspicions not raised when in 2008 highly
paid super star Nacho Novo could only pay an issued

going back to 1996 ?
What has been the delay in the FTT, Craig Whyte´s roofing
prosecution, the report from Duff & Phelps to Lord Hodge ?

cases are ?
Section 14. Alex Salmond and the SNP government
Do you consider Sevco to be an integral part of
Scottish society ?
At what point in time were you made aware of the
perilous financial situation at Rangers and by whom ?
Would you welcome further endorsements of your party
and policies by Sir David Murray ?
Why are Sevco fans immune from the new legislation
that prompted you to call for an immediate football
summit ?
If you were aware of Rangers perilous financial state
before the football summit do you now accept that you were;
either putting the cart before the horse (so why ?) or you were
indeed hoodwinked into the Rangers must survive at all costs
PR campaign orchestrated by Media house presumably
especially considering that Sevco fans are immune from
prosecution ?
Are Sevco fans being spared from prosecution as this is
what media house have requested ?
To whom have you spoken to with regards the perilous
financial state of Rangers and were these meetings
minuted ?
If not why not ? What do you have to hide ?
Are you still proud of Rangers FC historic accomplishments ?
Are you content that Scottish Independent Television openly
admitted to becoming Rangers and Sevco´s official media
partner as you had nothing to say on the matter ?
Is this your vision of a future of Scotland where the only
Independent Scottish Television channel is a customer
of Rangers FC and then Sevco especially considering
how much public finance is given to Sevco from BBC
Scotland ?
Section 15. ECA governance, administration and accountability
Does the ECA approve of the use of EBT´s to pay players and
football employees ?
Has the meeting you have had with Charles Green been minuted ?
Do you consider Sevco to have taken the place of Rangers within
your organisation ?
If yes how has this come to pass considering your own statutes ?
Why has so far no decision been taken upon this ?
Is Karl Heinz Rumennigge compromised in his position as head
of the ECA considering that HIS General manager of Bayern Munich
– a club he partly owns – is an EBT beneficiary ?
Does the above also explain why the ECA have ignored this issue
with regards to one of their founder clubs ?
That the ECA statutes were partly written by John Mc Lelland is
it safe to conclude that the ECA is only a vehicle to extract monies
from UEFA for the use of club player on international duty and has
no interest in FFP ?

up_over_goal – In this country you can marry and fight for your country when you are 16.
………..
Who says that is the only issue he wants them to get a vote in? He’s negotiating for them to get a vote in the referendum as that is the ballot he is negotiating for at the moment. I’m pretty sure in an Independent Scotland he will push for legislation for them to vote in every election.
Steinreignedsupreme,
i admire your optimistic outlook but as events have panned out so far in my opinion they have barely been punished as far as their crimes merit.
up_over_goal – (not helped by the worst opposition since the parliament began)
And there is the big reason I am anti-independence.
I do not believe the wit or political guile exists, in any party in this country, to successfully turn us into a prosperous nation. Certainly not during this economic climate where we are going to need some creativity, intelligence and bravery to pull us through it. Qualities sadly lacking in the Scottish political spectrum.
Salmond is the worst kind of opportunistic politician, bending any direction that will pick up a vote. I cite his staunch defence of the Sevcovite tax dodgers being lauded as a “fabric” of the nation when they owed us £95m.
Don’t even start me on the Offensive Behaviour bill.
I know we are not voting for a party but for something much bigger but as I say, the opposition is not much better.
greenjedi – I hope he does, however it is being reported he said at the presser today it is only for this question…..
Should there be a section for the SPFA ?
and what questions would arise ?
HAil Hail
I’m not anti independence but I am anti independence if it’s to be under the governance of Salmond’s SNP.

“i admire your optimistic outlook but as events have panned out so far in my opinion they have barely been punished as far as their crimes merit.”
Correct. But that’s because it’s not over. The process takes time, and the real fun hasn’t even started.
Be patient. It will be worth the wait.
Awe Naw
Brilliant piece of work but in my opinion you missed the most important question of all……
IS IT STILL COLD IN HIS SHADOW?
HT
Just mailed you.

A couple of years ago the SNP wanted to restrict off sales to those over 21.
Because 18, 19 and 20 year olds weren’t responsible or mature enough to buy alcohol.
Now 16 and 17 year olds are responsible and mature enough to vote in the referendum.
Aw Naw
That’s more like a book. See if P67 will provide a foreword!
Richie
I asked him but he is more expensive than Alex Thomson ;-)
Hail Hail
akickinthenakas – you should have my details from Paul67 now mate.
OK bhoys
think questions and sections
What have I missed ?
What question is burning away at you and I haven´t got it ?
Hail HAil
Most Celtic fans on my Twitter feed seem to be pro-independence.
I’m persuadable but if the vote was today would vote against.
Mainly because the SNP and their attempts to equalise political and sectarian behaviour through the Offensive Behaviour at Football legislation and McAskill’s comments after the Cup FInal really do make me wonder about what kind of Scotland an independent one would be.
I’ve just returned home today from week holidaying in Argyle, a beautiful part of the world. Culturally though, parts of Scottish society have much less to offer.

I bumped into four Sevconians yesterday – first time I’ve seen them in almost a year.
I’ve known them all for decades and yesterday was the first time football was not discussed when we have been in company for over an hour.
I was smiling constantly though.
ernie lynch – Exactly. The worst type of opportunistic politics. Salmond has a spine made of Play-Doh.
Leading a country to independence is an historic and monumental act. It should be an act that rises above party politics and has to be done by a brave, strong willed person. Somebody with the sole focus of what is best for the country.
Could you imagine Salmond making a decision that would be best for Scotland but would lose his party popularity?
You need somebody willing to do just that. There is nobody of that ilk, on either side.
For me, Salmond and the SNP are a means to an end. No more, no less.
I have no problems with discussing a reduction in the voting age. But there should be a proper consideration of the matter – and there should be one voting age and not a different one for different elections.
This is too important an issue to be stitched up between two smug gits!
