What to do? We were far too lethargic, seems to be little desire in the team, too many basic mistakes in defence too many stray passes. Perhaps it is just going to be one of those days. Hopefully better things to come in the 2nd half.

Great first 10 minutes but increasingly sloppy from Celtic as the game has gone on. Thistle’s
pressing seems to be knocking us off our stride. Need more from KC who has been off the boil so far. Last couple of games have seen a much improved Celtic in the second half so let’s hope Lenny can work the magic again at half time.

Dire first half. Our sole attempt on goal got us to 1-0 but it has been really poor since then. The pitch doesn’t seem to be helping our game with the ball bouncing around all over the place. Same for both sides, but our passing game is really struggling. I think Neil will look to get the ball wider second half. Everything seems to be going through the middle which is heavily congested.
Neil selected his strongest 11, no doubt as a reward for getting us to the league title, but it’s not working. Dare I say, Sammi might be a decent option down the left. Commons overdue a rest and LG not at the races.
This one looks like it has the makings of a 1-0 final score. Hopefully Neil can do something to lift the performance.

Mulgrew does not work as CM if Lenny is hellbent on him playing then go with 442 with Charlie on the left Steffan and Broonie have to much ground to cover because of his slowness.
Our forwards have to get a grip of this game, they are very careless tonight after a bright start.
Hoping we would win the league tonight with a display to shut the SMSM up.

Wow, that was strange. Great start should have given us impetus to score at will. Commons and Brown were way out of sorts for the first 15 mins, then stokes and Griffiths joined in, followed by Efe and even VVD. Mulgrew was next to catch the bug and Izzy joined in. Then Johansen and Matthews. Only Forster has escaped so far.

Scrappy and untidy on a bumpy pitch. Early goal possibly took feet of the gas. A bit sharper and up the tempo 2nd half. Izzy can get good crosses in so let’s have some width.
