  1. thought we missed GT yesterday, refuse to believe the allegation’s. dost not look the suicidal to me. Disappointed goes without saying but many positive from last season. There is no-gap betwween us, fantastic turnaround in short time and plenty time to improve. Is the new bhoy a left back? under the circumstances coudnt expect penetrating runs on his first night at the bigotdome AND never trained with the team.

The defence played well, really well . loosing one goal to a set piece is nothing like not being able to defend them at all, as in the past.

we have the talent if we are good enough. The spfl is a backward scenario. so much pressure before the season even starts. Always glad to see the back off euro qualification and the transfer window.

the new board crosssed the Rubicon appiontine Angie.

  2. My friends in Celtic,

I didn’t think we would get beaten today, but we did. Our manager will learn and we will move on.

I am not too disappointed, as previously stated before the game our crucial result was on Thursday night.

We can easily recover from a marginal defeat against the huns, but it would have been very difficult to recover if we had got put out on Thursday.

Thursday was mega for us. How much did our epic second half performance take out of us. ?

    Some observations:-

James Mccarthy signed a 4 year deal. Surely his fitness was evaluated and his productive availability is only a matter of time.

Christopher Jullien is making all the right noises on social media, but actions speak louder than words.

Odsonne Edouard.. What can I say, from hero to zero. It is best for all concerned that he goes now. Currently the best song in football is better than the player himself.

Greg Taylor. Give the bhoy a break.

We will get it right for the SPL, when we consider the absolute shambles we were in a few months ago our ongoing transformation is remarkable. AP will learn far more in adversity.

By sheer grit and determination we can look forward to a magnificent Europa section. This is where history will be made.

HH to all, the journey continues.

Oh theres only 1 King Billy.

  4. Left it a while before coming on here, wait for the eejits to slink away to their scratchers after 12 hours of their usual panty-wetting hysteria.

Thoughts? A game we could have won, had our midfield turned up.

AP was right to admit the error re OE & Kyogo, but not for the obvious reasons. Like a sleight of hand card-sharp, nobody is looking at our midfield and all focus on the boss’s selection mistake and his decision to put OE in the middle.

That wasn’t a mistake, he saw the positive impact OE had against AZ and put him there, hoping for more of the same. It’s not a case of OE or Kyogo, he was always going to pick both, but that’s because there is nobody else up front that he trusts.

Our problem was midfield. Someone (maybe Turkeybhoy?) said that you cannot win a tight game if a few were not performing at their best. Christie, McGregor, Turnbull and Rogic were all under par. Abada was anonymous also. But for the first 45, they held their own. The game was lost in that 15 minute spell after half time, where Rangers improved on all fronts, while we regressed. Territory, possession, momentum and aggression all ebbed away in that spell, and by the time the changes were made, it was too late.

Plus points? Juranovic, Welsh, Starfelt, Kyogo, AP’s willingness to admit he got it wrong.

    Meh? Abada & Hart.

Let downs? Édouard, our midfield, and APs decision not to put Kyogo in the middle.

We will keep on improving, but we need another 4 in, at least. Also not sure McCarthy is the answer.

Oh, and a final thought for the rocket who blamed Ange for leaving Kyogo & Abada exposed on the wings, suggesting they did not cope with the crowd. As far as I can recall, it has been common practice now for a number of seasons for Rangers fans to occupy the seating that runs along both wings of the pitch. They have also been known to support the home team and shout at opposition players. It has also been suggested that some of the comments they utter towards visiting Celtic players could be viewed as ‘discouraging’…

So why has every other Celtic winger in our history been trusted by whichever manager picked them to cope on their Ibrox debut with their role on the wing, but not Kyogo & Abada? Idiot…🤪

  5. Can’t believe some are still talking about Greg Taylor when he didn’t even play. Certainly tells you something about their mindset.

Interestingly, I wonder if anyone had more sympathy for Lennon after that defeat? Players let Ange down just as they let Lennon down – Edouard, Turnbull, Christie really failing. Again, similar to Lennon’s tenure was rangers full backs snuffing out Celtic’s wingers whether it’s Forrest, Frimpong or Abada and Kyogo – something needs to change but what? Another similar problem Ange has that Lennon also had – a poor bench to some extent dictating substitutions. The whole coaching thing at CP is a mystery to me – who does what? No offense meant but why is Stephen McManus on technical bench when he has never played Ange’s brand of football in his life and neither has GS or JK. It just doesn’t add up and we’re still very vulnerable at set pieces and prone to tiring. Everyone blames Lennon for lack of fitness about but surely that’s mainly a player’s responsibility. If he feels he’s not fit he should do something about it just like if he sees his delivery from set pieces is poor he should improve. It’s not rocket science it’s why most professionals have to go on refresher courses – often compulsory.

It’s down to earth again. There were a lot of positives (the defense to a man a big improvement despite some errors) but some players just don’t perform on the big stage or can’t take the rough and tumble – chiefly Turnbull and Edouard. Turnbull needs to bulk up a bit and overcome his fear of injury if that’s what’s ailing him. Edouard needs to go – at any price. I’d be inclined now to say same thing about Christie after last Thursday and Sunday. And will Rogic ever be more than a luxury player? It’s a long time since he did anything in a derby game.

  6. The mair Gerry C songs introduced by the always Amazing Celtic Support—Loving it— that roaster who ran on the pitch is not a Celtic Supporter.

Celtic are gonnae rock this Season. I mean really rock.

Interesting he came from that area. A cracking steward blootered him, unlike the pitch invader, a Celtic fan.
