  1. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

    PHYLLISDIETRICHSON

    Aye,that’s a fine compliment.

Not to be confused with the insult/statement of fact that is

“How did you know he’s a hun?”

    “Cos he looks like one!”

  2. PD

San Pedro is a place I have visited at least 50 times. Been in the Hogan Stand a few times. OK but not really my kind of pub.Enjoy yourself.

  3. One for The e historians. What’s our longest run of consecutive victories at Ibrox?

    Thanks.

  4. What is the Stars on

San Pedro De Alcantara, lovely little town just south of Marbella/Puerto Banus on the road to Estepona

Spent many a happy family holiday there when my kids were young

My mate’s lad said similar yesterday. First nine years of his life were hard, being born in Oct 88.

But he never lost hope, and he’s joooost loving it now.

There’s never been a bad time to be a Celtic fan-some difficult times, aye, but who else could we support?-but Lisbon and 9iar aside, much of which I was fortunate to witness, now is as good a time as any.

I’m verging on happyclapper status here, ffs!!!

  6. WITS

When I first went to San Pedro, Puerto Banus was a fine place. Now, it is full of pretentious pillocks who think calling it ` The Port` makes them virtual locals ( albeit `locals` who don`t speak a word of Spanish.

    JJ

PS My niece lives there. Guadalmina.

  7. I’m on a bad place just now Bobby. Celtic is just about it. Gives life a meaning and that is wrong. I’ve always been a tim but within a a bigger context. I’m lost at the moment mate.

Really sorry to hear that, mate. I think you’ve met my Dad in The Crown Creighton, have a blether with him next home game. Not about anything personal necessarily, just life and brickbats it throws at you.

    Or,mail me on

I’m no trained psychologist but apparently I talk enough shite to divert the doomdays. I think after listening to me,people thank their lucky stars they don’t have to do it too often!

And there’s always the hootenanny in six weeks,11/11. A wee sesh wi the troops is just what the doctor ordered for anyone. Old saying, never met a knob CQNer yet. Statistical improbability,aye-but so so true!!!

Look after yourself, bud. There’s life and fun and laughter ahead, even in the darkest hours.

    HH

(Sorry if the above sounds patronising in any way, honestly not my intention)

  9. Big Packy

If your about apologies about last night I jumped in with the size 8s big time :-)

    Happy clapper = Contented

Looking forward to Sportscene in 45mins wonder if wee Paddy getting wiped out by Jack in the box will get a mention, in saying that it’s the first and last time I noticed Ryan Jack on the park never mind in a box

  10. Hun on one of the threads on FF using every vile name and words to describe everything and anybody connected to Celtic. I had to chuckle at the end of his sick rant he finishes by saying.”They have no class

  11. Poor Marc Warren hasn’t had the best of weekends a wee bogey at the last ensures my eachway bet stoated in the Portugal Open in the golf, thought withthe law of averages the Huns might get a win somewhere, 12/1 eachway quarter the odds the first 4 when already in a place position before a ball is hit… the bookies don’t usually give us a chance

Pedro must stay, he is dynamite in the embarrassment levels

As another poster said, imagine the Hibs manager acted like Caxinha ?

  12. Call of Juarez @ 4.18

I was wondering the same thing. I can recall us doing 3 wins in a row before in 2003 ( Beachball Sunday and then the two ganes the following season and the other occasion was when we played them there 3 times in 5 weeks between 14 Aug 71 and 11 Sep 71 winning 2-0, 3-0 ( my first visit to Ibrox – a birthday present) and a 3-2 win when wee Jimmy scored a last minute winner when he outjumped the Rangers defence.

We might have done better before the First World War but our record there was dire betweem 1920 and 1966 I think.

  13. jimthetim, make sure that you talk to somebody about feeling that way. you can get my email address from Paul if I can help.

  14. The ‘stewards guarding the dignified goalposts from The Griffalo….!

Oh my aching sides! The more I think about it the more absurd it gets. Like there ain’t no bigger issue at play over at ole AyeBrokes…

  15. Pedro was trying to get Scott to react – he was trying to get him sent off for that reaction. He’s a sneak – it’s a trick out of Mourinho’s play book

  16. PD

My nieces house is about six feet from a par three there! The tee is about ten yards to the right of her house !

    Small world right enough.

  17. Call of Juarez

Would be disappointed and surprised if we don’t. We have not won all that often there in my time – 30 I can remember- and yesterday was the most ‘routine’ win there I can remember. This was the kind of result and performance I would expect against a team which finished almost 40 points behind us last season with us having a bigger game to follow midweek.

  18. Natknow 5.44pm

I pointed this out yesterday but even funnier they don’t “employ” stewards that will be Sevconian with hi-vis jackets, which makes it even better :-)

  19. i'vehadtochangemyname on

good point gerry – if lennie looks at them and gets slaughtered for it,pedro shitxinha asks broonie to step out and nowt’s said

  20. Shock horror BBC Scoddkand don’t show the Paddy penalty

    Ivehadtichangemyname

Imagine Ronny Delia acted like Pedro

Although in my annoyance about the media they are actually major factors in the Huns hurt :-)

I can never hate Andy Walker because he scored the last goal my dad ever saw us score. But …He is a bit of a nit.

  25. Apols if already posted, but this is worth seeing.

On the heraldscotland website today, there’s an article titled ‘Leigh Griffiths: Celtic dominated Rangers from start to finish.’

It’s illustrated with a picture of Leigh Griffiths and Patrick Roberts celebrating Griff’s goal, in front of a section of Rangers supporters.

Among them, you can easily discern the usual banal range of hand gestures and the like, and there’s some ugly bassas there as well, of course.

But…but…but look on the left hand side of the picture, about half way up. Do my eyes deceive me? A good-looking lass among the horrid hordes, smiling and applauding the Celtic players? Is she some sort of secret agent?
