REVEALED: JURANOVIC POISED TO RETURN

1

CROATIA international defender Josip Juranovic is set to return to the Celtic line-up for tonight’s Europa Conference League meeting with Bodo/Glimt at Parkhead.

The right-back has been missing since the 3-0 win over Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Ibrox visitors earlier this month with Anthony Ralston in the No.2 position.

However, Juranovic, a £2.5million buy from Legia Warsaw in the summer, has trained all week and is ready to face the Norwegians who hammered Jose Mourinho’s Roma side 6-1 earlier in the competition.

Ange Postecoglou will field his strongest side and the Hoops boss has already stressed the importance of going as far as possible in the new-look competition.

The hosts, though, will again be without long-term absentees Kyogo Furuhashi and David Turnbull, who haven’t played this year due to hamstring problems, while Mikey Johnston, who limped off during the 4-0 Scottish Cup vistory over Raith Rovers at the weekend, is also out with an ankle injury.

Japanese midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi is also sidelined as he was not registered in the original squad.
