BRENDAN RODGERS is looking for his twelfth victory in his 15 games against Ibrox opposition when the teams lock horns at Parkhead this afternoon.
The 50-year-old Irishman has also had two draws and a solitary defeat in his previous derby encounters.
Rodgers resumed hostilities in this fixture after an absence of four years and nine months when he took the Hoops across the city for the first Glasgow duel in Govan on Sunday September 3.
In front of a hostile 50,000 crowd, the second time-around boss enjoyed another victory courtesy of a sensational volley from Kyogo Furuhashi.
It was Rodgers’ sixth game at the venue – and his FIFTH triumph.
Rodgers has watched his teams clock up 13 goals in the Govan confrontations while conceding five.
WALLOP…Kyogo Furuhashi volleys in the winner at Ibrox to welcome back Brendan Rodgers to the Glasgow derby.
In his 11 wins in the previous 14 derbies, the elite gaffer, who lifted seven successive domestic honours in his first spell at Parkhead, has seen his team rack up THIRTY-TWO goals while conceding just seven.
