Ronny’s fuel for next four months

1674

There would have been no surprise reading Ronny Deila’s ‘heaven and hell’ season in the Celtic View.  It must have been an enthralling season for the manager but, good grief, it started with an 8.6 on the Strachan Early Season Scale.

These experiences mark us.  We’ve watched footballers and managers grow weary (another word for lazy) in the past, as their early groundwork waned during good times, but memories like Legia or Maribor will inform every decision Ronny Deila makes for the next four months.  He needs to use that ‘Never again’ month as fuel right now.

Did you sign the petition yesterday to demand the Scottish Government repeal their ill-conceived nonsense of a law which the entire country outside of Holyrood, and a few elites at Police Scotland, know is an abomination?  If not, here’s your chance.

I respect anybody who is not false, not false to themself’s, have the strenth of their convictions and stand their ground against a baying/bleating lynch mob… and who is not an upright Dolly.

I find it sad and amusing in equal measures how so many on here disdain his ramblings yet big, big, big, up their own.

Do I agree with what KevJ’s ramblings, sometimes I do, and sometimes I don’t but in the great scheme of things what does it matter what I think.

    Ou est Alfie aujourd’hui?

I hope the multitude at least read and try to discern what he is saying.

And in the new landscape the people need to stay awake and keep a tight lead on the new SNP lot.

Main thing is though, at least the people ARE awake now.

  6. A lot of my mates where of the belief that the only way we can get rid of the Tories was vote SNP, lol, well that worked out well, I’m so looking forward to seeing them this weekend, what freckling mess we are in now, hahaha.

even if Labour had won in Scotland they still wouldn’t have had enough seats to beat the tories with the disaster they had in Engerland……….a very easy blame game

  9. So SNP run Scotland and have exactly what they asked in Westminster.

I’ll drink to the death of the British Labour Party in Scotland.

Parasites whom preyed on the poor, disadvantaged and the working class for years.

Pretending to help the underprivileged, when they were only interested in lining their own politics.

The worst hypocrites of them all.

I cannot abide any politicians – and here, you most probably have merely replaced like for like – still good to see the champagne socialists get their comeuppance.

Ehhhhh another 45 seats would have made a diff.its a mess, but it will be fun.

The truth of the matter is that the hardline stance taken by the SNP against the Tories has hardened pro-Tory opinion in much of England. The only losers have been Labour and it looks like the Tories may even have an overall majority without the need for any coalition.

Should they manage to engineer any meaningful restructuring of the Barnett Formula, something that will be hugely popular elsewhere in the UK, then the SNP may well find itself having to either raise taxes or cut spending locally to fulfill their Manifesto pledges in Holyrood.

That might make them a lot less popular an option in any subsequent Elections.

Oh I agree, but the Tories played a shrewd game I think, and it’s going to be fun and silly, as I said it’s a mess.

All the SNP Westminster MPs will have plenty of spare time on their hands.

More powers will be devolved to Holyrood, and it will be English MPs voting on English issues.

The real winners in all this might be the DUP.

Rangers are against their fans being charged twice

MORE Rangers fans will vote for the SNP than any other party – shattering the myth Bears are all unionists.

An online poll by gersnet.co.uk shows the Nationalists will win 30 per cent of the Light Blue vote, a point ahead of Labour.

The popular fans forum took a sample survey size of more than 800 and as of around 9pm this morning, the poll also shows the Tories were on just 23 per cent.

It’s widely thought Rangers fans are staunch unionists but Stewart Franklin, who runs the website, insists his poll proves this is no longer the case.

He said: “There are too many generalisations made of Rangers fans in a social sense & this poll shows just how different our fan-base is politically.”

Meanwhile, an exclusive Survation poll for the Daily Record last night showed the SNP are expected to trounce Labour. It is predicting Sturgeon and Co will win a mammoth 52 seats.

  16. Boo! Hiss! The Tories played a shrewed game.

Blame the Tories for politicating politics.

Macjay1 – I detest those Tory leeches equally.

Only slightly less dishonest than the so-called Labour Party.

The Tory parasite is upfront with it’s true intentions – Tory will tell the poor straight up – we are going to bleed every last drop of blood from you.

The Labour parasite will pretend to work for the poor, but the intention is just the same as the Tory – feather your own nest at the expense of the poorest in society.

    HH.

  19. Well a disasterous night all round. We will now have a vote on the EU and the SNP will call for a referendum. Complete uncertainty abounds and a fractured left. This will allow a rampant Tory party to attack the poorest (it will be worse than Thatcherism). Despite 16 roads rather jaundiced view the SNP will only care about independence and couldn’t give a flying toss about the poor.

UK in a mess. The death of the Labour Party means the death of hope for many.

I, somewhat ashamed of my fellow scots but not surprised,

We enter a new era and not a pretty one. Politics in Scotland now becomes the politics of the bully and we have lost many able politicians to be replaced by racists like Mhari Black (who becomes my MP). The SNP will be emboldened and continue their desperate attempts to criminalise us.

But hey we get what we deserve. I feel for those less well off and for my daughters.

Time for me to hunker down and hope against hope that the worst doesn’t happen.

  20. Wales didn’t return a tory govt.

    The north of Ireland didn’t.

    How?

You’ve lost the plot Tony 67 I’m sorry to say. Tories are on target for 325 regardless. Where does the 45 labour seats in Scotland change that? That would only give them …….aw, do the Math…Maths?

Anyway, that’s one take on it…the stupid Scots played like a whistle by these clever Tories.

My take – I don’t trust any of them – but at least I know I’m not getting fed the same old lies – probably lot of new lies – but at least the country is now much more aware.

I listened to Charles Kennedy a couple of weeks ago moaning about how he wanted to go back to proper old politics.

    Delighted he’s gone.

Well done scotland for voting for the party who’ll fight for scotland.

On the other hand we are Donald ducked now the Tories are in again and that Cameron has got a coupon you would love to hit with a sledgehammer the smug c***

  25. Pogmathonyahun aka Laird of the Smiles on

Good morning from an overcast Nordrhein Westfalen, rather grey and overcast a bit like the election result.

The General Election – a great result for the SNP, a terrible result for Scotland. The Tories will now do their utmost to put the boot into the people of Scotland at every opportunity. The Labour Party will continue to blame the SNP for the Tory government despite the fact that it was their results in England that are responsible for the Tory victory. Time for Labour to wake up and smell the coffee and get back to fundamentals as well as electing a credible leader. I am delighted for the SNP, and that coming from a Labour voter from when I was 18. I even think my old man may have voted for the SNP and a bigger socialist you would not have met who worked in the ship yards on the Clyde, a shop steward and secretary to the Blacksmiths and Boiler Makers Union.

Not looking forward to another 5 years of Tory rule but looking forward to the possibility of another Scottish Referendum in my lifetime.

  26. Ronerttressel. Fight what? The Scottish people? I am a minority in Scotland on just about everything now. So perhaps fight is the right word. Perhaps shoving cardboard placards in the face of Mhari black is the way forward but tell me my friend how long before that is illegal against SNP politicians only.?

I feel desperately sorry for everyone but the majority in Scotland have no idea of what they have just done.
