The Scott McKenna thing is baffling for many different reasons
Firstly, he suits Aberdeen’s agricultural style of football. He’s neither overly commanding, tall, quick, or good with the ball.
The other puzzling thing, is a 3.5 million pound bid. Well if that is accurate, then 1) It says we are intent in pursuing a centre half , and 2) We half a decent amount to throw at it.
Which would beg the question, is there no Greek, Croatian, French, Serbian, Portugese Dutch, or Icelandic centre half of good reputation that would could go after for 3.5 million ??
Is SPL, and/or Man City the full limitation of our scouting operation ?

By all accounts there are a raft of CHs available,for not too much money.The latest is an ex Stutgart,Bayern,CH,31,15 caps for Germany,free agent.We had Reyes,53 caps for Mexico,25,free agent.I mentionef earlier the Gronigen CH ,1.5 million,and he has a partner playing with him at the moment,(Ohh,Matron),for same type of money.These look like experienced defenders who could do a job for us,but not a word.
I really despair.
