SCOTT SINCLAIR: THE FINAL WORD

0

SCOTT SINCLAIR made an emotional exit from Celtic after three-and-a-half exciting, enthralling and entertaining years in the east end of Glasgow.

It was never dull when the multi-talented Englishman was performing in the green-and-white hoops of the champions.

You only get one chance to make a first impression and Sinclair took it with the winning goal on his debut against Hearts at Tynecastle on August 7 2016.

Sinclair started on a high and he completed the job when Brendan Rodgers’ men won the title on the same ground on April 2 2017 when he fired in a hat-trick in a runaway 5-0 triumph with EIGHT games still to play.

As they say, though, all good things must come to an end and with the 30-year-old Englishman out of contract in the summer he made a switch to Preston North End this week.

CQN believes the last word should go to Sinclair when he was quoted on the Championship side’s official Twitter account.

He said: “They made an amazing song for me, I had an amazing relationship with the Celtic fans and the love and support they have shown me over the last three years or so I can never repay.”
