Pretty gutted for Inverness keeper Dean Brill, who will miss the Hampden Scottish Cup semi final with a dislocated knee. We saw enough from the Highlanders on Saturday to know they pose Serious Treble Risk, but you want to beat teams at full strength.
Anyone who tells you Celtic suffered a material loss due to Rangers liquidation is blowing out his bum. We lost some revenue but we’ve not been in such good shape, financially and on the field, in years.
I I could argue it was the best thing to happen to Celtic in the last 48 years but we’ll have the decades to come to ponder the full impact.
The Memorial Stone for CQNers no longer with us has now been fully funded with circa £500 left over for Mary’s Meals. A humbling effort, well done to all involved, especially TBJ.

Tom,
Danny Lafferty was an attacking fullback from Ireland.
thon Jackson Irvine had a good game.
Ross Wallace Burnley
Darly Murphy top scorer or thereabouts in the Championship?
From Derry I think. Good potential but perhaps was, erm, distracted.
Tom McLaughlin, Danny Lafferty was our reserve left back who moved back to Ireland. The last I heard Burnley had signed him.
Liam Boyce

Dallas – Interesting statistice there on the radio..
That’s County’s first hat trick in the top league.
That’s the second hat trick total in the Premier this season…..the other one going to Partick Thistle I think…
I’m glad many on here who have better knowledge than I have about our ex-players playing in England’s top two leagues. .
Its shows the turnover of players we have had in the last ten years.
Most of the players listed by us all have been on our books in the above period.
I see Game of Thrones has a lot of followers on CQN.
When I was in Australia, just about everyone in my office raved about Game of Thrones. They would try and draw me in, to such an extent that one women copied an entire series to DVD and presented it to me. I never asked for it but accepted out of politeness.
When I left to return to Scotland, the DVDs were still in my desk drawer. I still haven’t watched a single episode.
No real opinion on it either way. It’s just not my thing.
More a Breaking Bad man me.
Tom,
I’ve just started Better call Saul.
No bad likes :)
Who’s that on Radio Scotland – “They comes out all guns ho….”
Dallas
I do know who you mean, and there are a few more.
Lists are shect. You always omit/insult at least one person from it. Learned that lesson years ago when I wrote a letter of thanks to foreign hosts on an exchange school trip to Paris. Missed out a few madamoiselles who were miffed when they came to Glasgow. :))

What channel for Game of Towers? Me Virgin
Gilligan is a brilliant screenwriter but is the Sevco one a brilliant director?
Geeryfaethe brig, I agree we should be sending more players out on loan.
The rules re loaning out players seem to have been reviewed. Stewart Findlay and Paul McMullan are on loan but can still play in our developement games played during the week.
We should loan more players out, preferably to teams outside Scotland however, if we qualify for the champions league there’s a tournament which runs concurrently for the youth teams of those clubs in the Champions League. Our youth players out on loan may not be able to play in the european tournament or the EPL international cup which we are still in.
For the Netflix subscribers
Take a wee look at Bloodline.
Broody, simmering family drama shot in an absolutely astounding part of Florida. The Keys.
