Serious Treble Threat, material loss

624

Pretty gutted for Inverness keeper Dean Brill, who will miss the Hampden Scottish Cup semi final with a dislocated knee.  We saw enough from the Highlanders on Saturday to know they pose Serious Treble Risk, but you want to beat teams at full strength.

Anyone who tells you Celtic suffered a material loss due to Rangers liquidation is blowing out his bum.  We lost some revenue but we’ve not been in such good shape, financially and on the field, in years.

I I could argue it was the best thing to happen to Celtic in the last 48 years but we’ll have the decades to come to ponder the full impact.

The Memorial Stone for CQNers no longer with us has now been fully funded with circa £500 left over for Mary’s Meals. A humbling effort, well done to all involved, especially TBJ.

Alasdair, I hope I’m not tempting fate but you have momentum that no other team in the bottom six has and have a winning habit. .

    Delaney’s, Shearer is a horror.

Roy Keane regrets not sticking one on him the time Roy was sent off against Newcastle.

In my mind, he had too much influence and power when he was at Newcastle which was to his benefit not the club’s. Not a lover of the bar codes but Shearer’s off pitch influence held them back.

Shearer was the ultimate team player. For Team Shearer.

Everything revolved around him at Newcastle. He had the press in his pocket, the fans in his pocket, and managers and team-mates out the door if he didn’t like them.

He only has escaped a ban for stamping on Neil Lennon by telling the FA that he wouldn’t go to the World Cup Finals if they suspended him.

    A hun type player.

Sickening attack, the sickening behaviour after that is normal now in Pro Fitba, perhaps he never realised that the thug had actually kicked Neil in the face, totally unprovoked.

Alan Shearer is portrayed as a really good guy, on Sky.

Over a small amount of Time, Alan Shearer will become the best ever guy on TV, that’s entertainment.

Bobby murdoch, thanks for the comment about that git, shearer.

A real nasty bit of business on the pitch.

He is never asked why he only won a single medal in his career even then if man u (yeuch) had beaten west ham on the last day of e 94/95 season, he would have won hee-haw.

He went in a huff at newcastle as the manager wouldn’t play his pal, rob lee. He went to his media pals with how much the manager, i think it was gullit, was harming the club. Gullet got the bullet a short while into his reign at newcastle.

A few months after shearer chucked playing, rob lee was on soccer am. He was asked how shearer was coping with not playing. Rob lee said not well and shearer had to buy his wife a car for the first time in about fifteen years as he no longer got freebies .

One day, perhaps a substantial number of years from now, the bears will discover the huge financial clout they have if they become UNITED. Any bank would gladly listen to that power. A tidy and neat new concrete stadium would not be outside the realm of possibilities. Patience is the key. Patience. Imagine, no spivs, no Ash, no debts, read that again – no debts. Remember. Patience. Most of all remember – UNITED.
