Pretty gutted for Inverness keeper Dean Brill, who will miss the Hampden Scottish Cup semi final with a dislocated knee. We saw enough from the Highlanders on Saturday to know they pose Serious Treble Risk, but you want to beat teams at full strength.
Anyone who tells you Celtic suffered a material loss due to Rangers liquidation is blowing out his bum. We lost some revenue but we’ve not been in such good shape, financially and on the field, in years.
I I could argue it was the best thing to happen to Celtic in the last 48 years but we’ll have the decades to come to ponder the full impact.
The Memorial Stone for CQNers no longer with us has now been fully funded with circa £500 left over for Mary’s Meals. A humbling effort, well done to all involved, especially TBJ.

I recently changed job and work for a company I now consider the masters of True Scotch whisky
For the last week I have been working in various departments and been asked to taste and nose different malts and blends . Today I spent 6 hrs at one of their premium distilleries near Perth and again was tasting and nosing premium products straight from the cask .
I have never liked whisky and each time they handed me one to sip . I raised it to my lips but didn’t drink any
I will however ” attempt” to raise and drink a dram in honour of my CQN friends who now sit in the big north stand ( copyright DD)
Alasdair, good and accurate comment about the slade’s dave hill lookalike.
Saw a few County fans in Central around six tonight, one was a wee bit worse for wear.
Transfer rumours started …

Brutal away game, always early KO and the new average speed cameras don’t help
Bravo Ross County!

Thanks
Wonderful ovation for Gutierez from the Liverpool fans
Danny Lennon probably feeling quite good about himself just now.
cowiebhoy-thanks
Cowiebhoy –
It was early April last year, and the year before.
The Battered Bunnet
Great post earlier and one which goes to, like that old tv show, the heart of the matter. I was a bit surprised to read that the old club brands etc went for a quid, but then again, Murray sold the whole shebang for the same amount. It takes us back also to the position adopted by Paul McConville two years ago, re our favourite legal phrase, gratuitous alienation. I cannot be the only one on here who on here who believes the sale of the brands, moreso perhaps than the stadium, offered evidence, proof even, that the Administrators acted in breach of the relevant Company Law, in that it allowed a new company to claim that the new club is the same as the old club which ran up the debts which led to its, albeit impending, liquidation. The SFA of course believes that these are simply legal niceties, to be ignored.
2-0 Liverpool
Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas,
Special breed those who travel from Dingwall to Glasgow airport on a Monday night – I imagine one or two might make a Monday holiday out of it.
A hotel in Aberdeen my lot…..sounds like Liam Boyce is coming onto his game the last few weeks….
2-0 Liverpool v Mash A team !

On the subject of our youth academy I would loan out the lot of them when they got to 18, playing u-20s is of no use in my eyes, loan them all out to Falkirk, Hibs, Morton or even Albion Rovers, wee GMS learned his trade at Airdrie, just my opinion but if GMS & Stuart Armstrong were at Lennoxtown as teenagers they would be nowhere near the 1st team, get them out and serve their apprenticeships in the lower leagues, John Park if you are lurking that will make prospects players !
ex celts in the English premiership and championship
Artur Boruc and Fraser Forster
Paul Caddis, Danny Fox, Danny Lafferty, Jos Hooiveld, Glenn Loovens
Victor, Joe, Paddy, Gary Hooper, Filip Twarzdik, Aiden McGeady, Borget (if he’s still at Cardiff)
oneofthe70percent,
By all means make your point and express your anger, but please don’t resort to name-calling of our manager (or anyone else) just because you’re not content with Celtic.
Do you really think Ronny’s a tw@t? Really?
Or are you just angry?
That post sickened me… for a minute, before I came to the conclusion that you are a hun.
TBJ
Sounds a great job. Let me know when ur leaving it. 0)
Dallas,
Berget has signed for malmo.
Doing no bad I believe.
Add Ki to your list. HH
Dallas –
Danny Lafferty?
Who he?
Kelvin wilson, kayal and watt.
Anybody else notice how much Ritchie looks like Lord Baelish from the “Game of Thrones”.
Alasdair. its been some turnaround for County since the turn of the year.
Liam Boyce was great for Cliftonville. I’m sure he spent a short time at Werder Breman before going back to Cliftonville.
Dallas
David Marshall shirley! ;)
Geordie, I was just about to post about Beram Kayal and Tony Watt. Kelvin Wilson slipped my mind.
I wonder what the Newcastle fans think of Pardew now?
Dallas – hat trick for Boyce!
3-0 Boyce hat trick
Delaney’s another who slipped my mind to my shame.
His performance in the Camp Nou is still a great memory.
I have omitted one ex – Celtic player from my list of players still playing in Scotland and you’ll know who I mean.
Jude
It’s kinda wasted on me although I did enjoy the carrot soup and baked potato they supplied FOC today
Oh and I actually discovered something called a Mamie Taylor which I did enjoy
Mr Skelper,
Fair points but I do get bored by men from the south of Scotland droning on about the hike up to the Highlands. It is only a few hours. Lord help them if we changed leagues.
And the top scorer in the championship played for us someone told me :)
3-0 Staggies in stoppage time – FT result
Jude
You would drown in a vat on your first day, fighting your rescuers off! Hahaha.
St Mirren 0-3 Ross County.
Alasdair, the long trip down for players and fans has been well rewarded tonight.
