SFO, IPO, hell will freeze before SFA act

1068

An appropriate course of action when you are the chairman or a non-executive director of a PLC when a fellow director and, until last week, chief executive, has been reported to the Serious Fraud Office for matters in connection with the company, would be to immediately contact the accuser asking for full and immediate disclosure of information which could materially affect investors and the company’s trading position.

The “compelling evidence that Messrs Green and Ahmad received a letter before claim in December 2012, having received previous correspondence, and chose to ignore it” sounds like a signed-for receipt.  If this was received before 22 December, the date of Rangers International FC PLC’s IPO, it is of critical importance that the board ask for sight of the evidence, irrespective of what Mr Green says about its existence.

This season’s Third Division has nine days to run and it would inconvenience many if these matters were brought to a head before then, but the duty of directors is clear; they cannot postpone attending to the interests of investors until after the football season.

Lawyers acting for RIFC PLC should politely request full disclosure from the other party, without delay.

Some in the SFA may be tempted to attempt another Grand Plan to prepare for and accommodate and almighty collapse at one club.  Grand Plans don’t work in these circumstances; the last one led to the current Lawyers at Dawn scenario.

We await the SFA acting in relation to RIFC PLC’s claim that Sevco 5088 Ltd, a company Craig Whyte is a registered director of, is part of their group.  This is in direct contradiction to an earlier representation made to the SFA, and breaks a condition of their membership of the Association.

Current SFA president, Campbell Ogilvie, is a former Rangers director.  My prediction is that hell will freeze over before he allows the SFA to act on this matter.  The SFA shall wilfully ignore its own rules.

Petec, I’m a bit fickle. They come they go. The one constant is Celtic.

I should learn the link creator to make it more snazzy.

Hopefully Paul67 will re-instate the link creator.

Petec, you need a couple of drams to settle you bro. I can administer those drams on saturday.

I’ll be on hand to make your day a belter.

    Re bomber broon.

The tension between him and English was very uncomfortable – even from our point of view. That broadcast was a definite set-up.

If we’re clever here….. – English was angry for a reason, he saw the set-up, which is why he saved his big question for the end. “What about Smith and McCoist?” This was the big clue. Brown went uncomfortable for the first time in the whole of the 40mins interview.

The strings are still being pulled by the same bas@urd what was pulling them 1

Hoi FFM, there’s nothing poor about the current Mrs ACGR, She’s got a life on a plate, a man who adores her and a body like a sculpture.

She’s the spitting image of rameses II. A fine looking stone carving of the highest quality.

  5. ACGR,

:)) I have no doubt that Mrs ACGR is a fine woman, but also a very patient one ! Why do I have the feeling you’ll be the one answering the phone every 30 mins on Saturday, and having to deal with a wee skelp on the cheek on Sunday morning, administered by a patient and good wife? :))

  6. Anyhoos, off to my scatcher.

Looking forward to Saturday (which is open to all btw, in case anyone’s contemplating going).

Only one thing to say – as a big thanks to BMCUW for organising it.

Can we all set our phone alarms to 10.30pm, not just to ensure he get’s the last train (which he has a habit of running for at the last minute), but to give him a wee send off :))

I say 10.30pm assuming the train’s at 10.35pm. Don’t give him more than 5 mins. One of the funniest things I’ve seen in years, is BMCUW deep in conversation, mid-rant even, and then out of nowhere, looking at his watch, throwing tables out of the way, jumping through bouncers, spring-boarding on rozzers, and using wheelie bins to skid down the road, just to catch a train. :)))

    HH BMCUW :)))

my first thought was shower of “c@nts” :)))

I know you’re thoughts on this I think. Not ridiculing DI amigo. I’m an open mind; I wouldn’t rule anything out, which I think is where you’re coming from?

But have to draw the line at the green blood thing. Only based on personal experience. Interested on your thoughts on that though..

Is the last train for Kilwinning not 1130 pm?

That would give BMCUW an extra hour for more drink! Maybe not a good idea! He would probably end up missing it – as he did in January the last time I had the pleasure of his company!

Mind you a taxi from Troon to Kilwinning is a lot cheaper than one from Glesga’!

    I’m up early this morning!

    HH!!

  10. PJBhoy,

I suggest a moon howlers dance right at their feckin door-step, but I fear it would give the rozzers the remit to remand us under terrorism laws for 7 days before the judge sent us down for 6 months for breach of the peace ! :))

    Tallybhoy

I actually checked the timetable 10 mins ago to be sure. The big bollocks will need at least 60 mins warning :)) I’ve a feeling ole BMCUW doesn’t like being aware of the time pressure. He will indeed need that five minute warning so he can indulge in some street olympics on his way to Central Station to catch the 11.30pm train to Kilwinning :))) He USES the time-pressure. Georgios Sammaras. Tony Watt. And then finishes with a head dive through the closing doors of the 11.30pm train at Central, and lands on his stomach, lying there until his body clock tells him he’s arriving at Kilwinning. Bobby Murdoch’s Super Powered Winkle Pickers :)))

  12. While I’m in the mood:

A film all here should have seen by now:

Man Dancin (in Scotland), aka Kerrigan’s Passion (rest of the world).

Uknown in Scotland, but popular in Europe and elsewhere.

It has Possil, Huns, Catholic Chapels being burned down, southside Glasgow gangsters, men trying to do the right thing but fighting corrupt rozzers, and the Late Tam White.

Why you not watched it yet??

  13. FFM,

No chance to expand on my earlier post..(too many gaffers about)..weekend night prob the best time for my particular brand of moonhowler..aided no doubt by some alcohol etc.

  14. PJBhoy,

As long as the help offered by said hand is unseen :)) We MUST keep its whereabouts a secret from rabid huns ! Or not – you could wave ra deeds in their faces with said hand, but they’d still ignore the crucial document, and with vicious dental seizur, go for the owner of the UFH …who will forever remain a secretive member of Praelatura Sanctae Crucis et Operis Dei. His name is safe in our hands amigo.

    zimmerman,

I hear ye. You not about Glasgow Sat night? We need bodies to help rally BMCUW to Central Station at 11.29pm :))

  15. Morning Celts and happy Friday amigos!

I’m starting to care less about the zombies and think the focus should be on the root of the corruption at the sfa, what do you think?

    Disband the sfa CSC

  16. Good morning friends and a Big Happy Friday.

A fair amount of rain during the night but it’s now clear skies and dry and very pleasant looking indeed.

  17. FFM

The CQNers who are attending the Saturday bash organised by BMCUW could, at the end of the evening, all march to Central station a la FAC!

It would therefore serve a double purpose, and ensure that he caught the last train home to face the music!

    HH!!

  18. Tallybhoy

That’s what I was thinking – if enough are there, he could stagedive (or be stagethrown) and then passed overhead all through a line of rebels leading right to the closing doors of the 11.30 to KW.

He may protest about this, but deep down, he’ll know it’s for the best.

For one thing, it’ll save him from this mad panic he always get’s into in the pub 5 mins before the train leaves.

One thing though; do we need to speak to the rozzers about this due to lack of planning, or do they still accept cash?

  19. FFM

A tenner a skull from those CQNers present should be enough for a bung to give to the polis.

    HH!!

  20. Tallybhoy

    :))

I’ve got a better one than that. Rozzer Sevco Central is a different kettle of pish these days. I go out armed with lollypop sticks with 5 x 20p coins fixed to the front in a single row, and double-sided sticky tape on the back. As soon as I get a querulous rozzer, slap it onto his left breast and sing, “the Moustache my Father Wore”. It works – they’re none the wiser :))

  21. FFM

my main concern with BMCUW will be if he is refused entry onto the train due to the new rules on people being drunk, you will have to stop his flow of Guinness about 8pm…

good job I am not going to be there as I usually miss the last train too..

  22. although to be honest Mrs BT and I got on the 9.55 train from central last Saturday and there was plenty of drunks on the train.. none of them being me or the Mrs I may add..

I am havering, tablets obviously working…

  23. FFM

    I like that!

One final thought on the ‘possible’ CQN/FAC/get BMCUW to the train on time march.

If there is a sizeable CQN contingent present, this could lead to a ‘kettling incident’ in the vicinity of Central station or on the station concourse!

This could have a tragic ending – BMCUW missing the last train again.

One of you lot will have to put him up for the night!

    HH!!

  24. Morning All from bright and breezy G68 (sorry Jobo)
