Christie had a great game today, his sublime dummy for the second goal was right out the top drawer.
Hes been much maligned this season, but credit where its due. My MOTM today

Very well done Bhoys, 4 straight wins 👏👏👏
In saying that
I thought, Poor performance, with still too many passengers in the team
No idea on the Ajeti, Griffiths rotation ( Griffiths is one of the Passengers in my view – Feb and still not fit enough, what does he do at training )

Agreed about Christie – if you look at our first goal it was Ryan who chased down the keeper whose rushed clearance ended up with us having possession 30 yds out.

yes, brilliant dummy for goal, but only in the latter stages did he play well. Not being critical, pitch did not suit a few of our players, but to say MOTM,really pushing it,for me.
Lumpy game, no real Celtic class, other than the move for the 2nd goal – brilliant dummy by Christie, genius 1st touch by Eddy… GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL 😁😁😁

St Johnstone’s ground is built on land donated by the eponymous farmer. It shows. Even when it looks decent on telly, it’s a field in reality. Looked appalling on screen today, so God knows how much worse up close.

A player I hate criticizing because of his monumental efforts over the years,is Calmac.I just thought he was very poor today. On that surface, its a lottery, and Calmac is more silky than agricultural,so no problem.
Can’t be good consistently, with the amount of games he plays.
Great player.

Lennon hails ‘top class’ reaction
FT: St Johnstone 1-2 Celtic
Celtic manager Neil Lennon tells BBC Scotland: “The manner of the performance was very good. The reaction was top class and we scored two beautiful goals.
“They seem in a good place at the minute the body language and the confidence is better, and Odsonne Edouard is in free flowing form.
“On a really sticky pitch they looked like a real good football team today.”

3 points, brace for CQN HQ’s whipping boy, Christie regaining some form played on a farmers field against some agricultural “footballers” job done. It was always thus.
Managerial apathy and angst on the back burner, as Corkcelt said no point going over old ground

Only seen the second half but thought Duffy was solid. He snuffed out at least 2 St. J scoring chances

He said before the game that Ajeti will be in for Wednesday, he rested him today.
We won today so he was vindicated not playing him.
It looks like Neil doesn’t fancy Soro and Broonie in the same team.
KLV
Unforgiven.
Lol – forgot about that one.
Hopefully. the bhoy Welsh will be back for our next game.
Any other season we would be happy with score today.
PCS
Hope so but I doubt it
VP
I am very happy with the result – the performance not so much
Feel sorry for all the smartasses here.
They will have to do something else for the next 2 hours as the afternoon pantomime has been derailed.
Pitch was shite, we are a team low in confidence but we dug out a win and that will do for today.
Longer term we need a total restructure but that can’t happen till next Season so no point in worrying about it now.
What a big difference the post match analysis is without that eejit Boyd present, like chalk and cheese
