  1. Well done Celtic.

    Terrible park,industrial tackling not punished,

any attempt by Celtic to mix it punished.

Not a great watch, but considering conditions etc good 3 points.

Disappointed in Kenny,no great shakes in my view,Turnbull again good initially then faded.

Hope there will.be extra red cross on duty for Cup Final when this crowd and Livvy meet up.

  2. Griffiths, coming on as sub.

    Why.

This guy is finished at Celtic.

Swap him for Porteous or Boyle in the summer

  3. oh and by the way ..Jamesgang your use of eponymous was slick and smart…

    smiley I am a titular man myself…thing

  4. Well done Celtic and Big Eddy looked interested.

My MOTM 1st half was Big Tam Rogic.

2nd half…It has to be Eddy.

    Greg Taylor also did well.

Where were OUR Big Guys at the St Johnstone goal ?

    Mon The Irish v France.

  5. Thought we had worked it out in the second part of the first half. Started to get control. 2nd half was ropey apart from the period in which we scored.

So, positives, we do look like we are defending more as a unit and not quite as jittery as we have been. But we still have a long way to go. Is that a positive?

We reacted really well, Christie was very good. Eddie is a great player.

The midfield needed changed, lifted or something in thec2nd half because we couldn’t keep the ball. If you can’t keep it you will have problems. Taylor has had better games but he is still the main man at left back for me. Kenny is competent if unspectacular.

Out of interest, who has our best right back been this century? Jackie Mac? Andy Hinkel? And why do I struggle to remember being content with our right sided full back? Genuine question: am I forgetting any?

  6. And todays targets are,

Griff – 122 goals scored for celtic.

Ryan – 129 games for celtic.

Neil – 21 trophies for celtic.

  7. Is the referee not called Steven McLean with a brother called Brian. The former Hearts player has the same name as the referee although with a slightly different spelling.

  8. If Jobo was still in business, I would be voting Eddie, Christie & Duffy.

Anyway off to watch a bit of egg chasing now.

  9. See Andy Walker, he is like that one relative alot of us from Celtic minded families has that took the hump with Celtic at some point and annoys the f%$# out of everyone by going on about how bad Celtic are or how much they love going some other club to watch football now – or even worse, they joined a rugby club. Usually cretinous about most other things too.

    You know the type.

I don’t all my relatives are great. Honest.

    Apart from this one guy.

  10. On 23 November 2011, Celtic announced that they had signed Lustig on a pre-contract.[3] He officially joined the club on 1 January 2012.[4] He made his debut for Celtic on 3 March, in a 1–1 draw with Aberdeen.[5] He scored his first goal for the Hoops in a 2–2 home draw against Hibernian on 1 September 2012. He was also initially credited with Celtic’s second goal that day, although it was later given as an own goal.[6] On 17 July 2013, Lustig opened the scoring in Celtic’s 3–0 away victory in the second round of qualifying against Cliftonville in the Champions League.

On 6 February 2017, Lustig performed a classic rabona in an unbroken 25-pass move involving all 11 Celtic players, which resulted moments later in a goal for team-mate Moussa Dembélé, sealing his hat-trick and a 5–2 win over home team St. Johnstone.[7] The goal was shortlisted for FIFA’s prestigious Puskas Award.[8]

On 28 October 2018, Lustig led the Hoops out to victory in what was his 250th game for the club as they defeated Hearts 3–0 in the League Cup semi-final at Murrayfield.[9]

On 4 May 2019, Lustig nodded home a terrific diving header against Aberdeen, sparking a 3–0 victory for the Celts which secured all three points and the club’s eighth consecutive league title.[10] On 20 June Lustig decided to leave Celtic after 7 and a half years which saw him lift 8 titles in a row.

I’ve defo got one of them maybe more.

    KEEP THE FAITH

  12. The ‘referee ‘ Steven McLean, has a brother Brian, who chose to play for Northern Ireland instead of Scotland when he was younger, you must remember the stick he got at every ground in Scotland, the same as Aiden McGeady got for playing for the Republic ?……..No….?

  13. SAINT STIVS on 14TH FEBRUARY 2021 2:55 PM

Henrik Larsson scored over 200 goals. Maybe we should put him up front.

Griff clearly isn’t fit and the question is why?

You might not agree but it seems Neil Lennon does and has also called him out recently. Is Neil Lennon wrong?

  14. Any manager that says a player is not fit in February is as cupable as the player.

Neil telling us that Ajeti isn’t fit to me is a slight on our coaching team/manager.

We should be asking questions of Neil as to why these players are not fit.

Other than injuries if players are not fit in February then why not Neil.

    D :)

  15. Missed the game today.

Good result and keeps the momentum going .

Anyhoo, back to the Celebrations as my long suffering wife is…… !! 60 !! Today .

Fun and games and a few Bacardis with the family .

2-1 till the end of the season and take it from there 😉

  16. Steven McLean ex “old rangers “ player was the one scowling in the dugout the whole game .

Shame really ,as a young lad he was a very pleasant person ,just shows how a few years at iPox can change some people

  17. Steven MacLean the torn faced ex-Hun who refused to applaud us on the pitch and punched Eboue Kouassi in the RS McColls is NOT related to Steven McLean the referee.

The referee’s brother is Brian McLean, another ex Hun who, as BB said earlier, opted to play for the 6-counties U-21s.

Without the abuse that plenty others got for similar

  18. Bada 3.03

I always remember the tortuous description that awful hun Begg on Shortie used when referencing Aiden…………….dripping with derision.

  19. Joke Alert…

A wee auld glesca wummin, is walking by the Chapel on an Icy winters day.

Sadly, She slips and falls on the ground.

She looks up an theres a wee Boy sitting on the Chapel steps….

    ” Here son ( She asks)….is Mass oot ” ?

Wee Boy…” Naw Missus…but yer hats oan squinty” !…

    ……………

A wee Jewish wummin is leaving the Synagoue…

Suddenly a ” Flasher” jumps out in front of her and exposes himself to her…..

The wee jewish wummin just looks at him with complete disdain and says…

    ” You Call that a Lining” ?

    LOL.

    HH.

  20. I only become aware of the Jewish joke from an Episode of ” Columbo”.

In the process of catching the Murderer ( Patrick McGoohan)…Peter Falk ( Lt Columbo) actually tells the murderer that joke in the middle of the street.

Patrick McGoohan was the Murderer in TWO Episodes of Columbo…I cant remember which one it was when he was told the Joke by Columbo ?
