The sun is shining on Celtic Park as the Easter weekend gets underway, while Celtic face Motherwell tomorrow, who look like they have discovered the limits of Stuart McCall’s managerial abilities this spring.
After some difficult news this week, here’s a ‘Happy Birthday CQN’ message from Wee Oscar, which he recorded last month; an even bigger ray of sunshine than the one beating down on Scotland.
Enjoy the break, if you’re getting one.

A wee song of hope for Wee Oscar
Whistling the Esperanza
Venables final was against Steau Bucharest with Barca. Steau won on penalties, one of the worst finals ever!
Watched it in Sylvester’s on Ingram Street.

Kate will never be short of admirers. Lovely Ken Bruce interview from a few years back catching her at her Sky of Honey creative peak. IMO.

That was a memorably poor show. UEFA to their credit pushed through a few rule changes after that Im sure. Enforcing illegallity of tackle from behind and introducing the (maybe now overused) red card for illlegaly stopping a goal scoring opportunity.
Meansong – that Strawberry Fields in Central Park that Yoko Ono paid for is similar to a patio set at B&Q. Very disappointing!

Never been but hope to some day. Real estate must be pricy there I’d “imagine”.

Didn’t like the Beatles at all, but seem to remember scrambled eggs being mentioned in the same sentence as “yesterday” not so long ago…?
It’s probably well known now but according to Paul Larkin, McCartney started writing Band On The Run when he was at Celtic Park watching Celtic beating Motherwell in a midweek match.
Dalglish scored, the crowd roared and “the rain exploded with a mighty crash” as the ball hit the net. By the time Macca had driven back home to Campbeltown, the song was more or less finished in his head.

I just bought a new ZOwiE mouse, silly me thinking it would make me Aim better. The Global offensive team is starting to gel howevah, we just need 2 others, preferably 4.
Young Aidan played Counterstrike source at 6 years old, competitively as well, but only once because the language was so harsh from the bad losers in the team, God Bless the Celtic Warrior, I hope he Captains the Global Offensive CQN team in a few years Time.
and with that, its Night Night from me.

TSD, I forgive you for taking the piss right oot of me when you first joined the site, yes Bill Cooper was a member of a secret society but he exposed so much, IF, I was lucky enough to get to Heaven, I’d expect to see Bill there.
He was a remarkable man that exposed so much, especially the Clintons.
