I’ve plenty of sympathy for Niall McGinn for coming under pressure after being spotted at the Kilmarnock-Celtic game on Monday, but not in any way distressed. Players watch former clubs all the time, it’s not even remotely an issue, but Niall is experiencing the cost of playing in a team at the top of the league. Aberdeen fans would neither notice nor care where he was on Monday if they were in their usual mid-table spot.
A taste of internecine strife does more damage than any external party could ever hope to inflict. Glad to hear it’s taken route at our nearest rivals. On a similar note…….
A serious bid to bring newco Rangers to its knees got into full swing yesterday, as thousands of ‘fans’ signed up to spend not a penny more with the club, while mock-Rangers jerseys (should that be mock-mock-Rangers?), sold by fans’ groups, were profiled in the media.
If you know your history, 20 years ago a group of Celtic fans, some working on the frontline, some working behind the scenes, orchestrated the Celts for Change campaign, which ultimately brought regime change at Celtic.
Celts for Change had two fundamental factors in their favour: people with access to the money required to resolve the club’s problems were among them, while those running Celtic did not have access to significant funds, personal or otherwise.
The lessons of Celts for Change is that before you hurt the club you love: make sure you are capable of laying a glove on those you are trying to damage, and when you bring things to a head, ensure you have the money to put things right. In newco’s case this will be many tens of millions.
I backed Celts for Change and I wholeheartedly back those who are trying to bring down newco. Their plans and foresight are exceptional.
Care to guess which Scottish club has been most active in the transfer market this month? Falkirk, who have signed their fifth player. They have won six of their last seven games and are now within a win of getting into a play-off spot. Hot tip for the play-offs: Falkirk, Hibs, Queen of the South and Ross County.
What about Mike Ashley yesterday appointing Duff & Phelps as administrators to one of his companies? Just in case you think he’s not ballsy.

BT, if LennyBhoy has your address, move.
Gordon, a chap I work with asked me the question earlier.
The answers he gave me were Jinky, Aiden McGeady, Choccy, Harry Hood, Stevie Chalmers, Henrik, Chris Sutton, John Hartson,, Murdo McLeod, Tom McAdam,, Charlie Nicholas, Big Shuggie, Bobby Lennox and Kenny Dalglish.
Gordon, I’ll ask the guy tomorrow who gave me the question to check the answers again.
Delaney’s, they were answers I was given earlier today.
Big Cup Winners.
I have been to the Calahonda McDonald’s resort.
Liked the resort and the accommodation but it is bordered by a main road which you have to cross to get to the village. The village was full of horrible egg and chips “restaurants”. So I would recommend having a car to be able to travel about, especially inland away from the coast to more local restaurants.
That’s my *sacrificial LMS3W1 pick in, Geordies. Shay, I’ll be relying on that life-belt.
Q./ Who follows 16 Sodium atoms into the Louden Tavern and takes the shirts from off their backs while he’s there?
A./ Ashman.
Go get’em, Mikey.
( *In the interest of fair and balanced reporting be advised, as Sir Elton of the clan John often reminds us through the medium of Vintage TV, sometimes in fact – “it’s no sacrifice at all”)

If it was since the 60s maybe?
Sure James McGrory to name one did it?

I prefer truffle steak in Croatia. Just a personal preference.
Few thoughts troops;
Sevco- guys, there is NO American bidding for them- it is a 100% con from Ashley.
This is a business model that has lost a quarter of a billion pounds since davy murray flipped his lid and bankrupt all his businesses. There isn’t anyone in the world with £100 million to buy out Craigy, Green, Mikey and the money launderers who are the shot-callers there.
About 5 years ago I decided not to fret about Celtic off the park. Fergus put the business model together and ensured that it would be run by exceptional people.
I reckon our board get most things right. Guys like KevJ and Neg2 ( KIt-mate, bless Tony, We remember the way you tried to bully TD67- what a clown YOU are pal ) will never get it.
Team wise- would love Maloney back and Armstrong signed.
CELTIC FOREVER!

Look forward to meeting you in Belfast. Booked my digs n flight and Oz Pink Floyd ticket. Canny wait. :))
LennyBhoy, be gentle with him, he’s just back to work!
With Last Man Standing 3 sitting at 83 entrants, ( assuming they all pay!, Yes sometimes payment is slower than that deadco company), then just a magic 5 to go!
So if you are number 88, then you will win one of those green CQN badges (sorry got to off load them somehow!)
Jobo will decide the winner.

If using the Chrome browser, just add the extension ‘Adblock Plus’ and you get no pop-up ads whatsoever. It’s free too.
Thank you
Will get my live in real wife to sort it for me tomorrow:))))))))))))))))))))))))
Doc the boy shows class and has an idea of his destiny built into him, decent chance he’ll make it too considering the temperament and timing he’s displayed in the hoops.
It is getting a bit windy by the Bank of the Clyde. Don’t see any vehicle lights on the Erskine Bridge.

SDSTim, would love to see him stick around for a couple of years, maybe even on loan to prepare for Man.C first team.

If you get a wife, don’t touch it with a bargepole. Believe me, I’ve got one. Hahaha.
Cot time for me, Night Night Timland.
Weefra HH praying to Wee Oscar.
Jungle Jim, I dis agree with your point on Victor Wanyama. Big Vic was lauded from his early days at Celtic. How could he not be, the man was a colossus. I don’t remember him getting much stick from the support. Having said that, I wasn’t reading CQN when Vic first joined the hoops.
It’s a shame we cant hold on to players like Vic and Virgil and that’s why we’ll struggle in Europe until the day when we can.
Big Vic cemented his place as a Celtic legend when he towered above the Barcelona defence and put us 1 up in our famous victory in 2012.
What a night at paradise, one of my favourites.

SDSTIM,

He was talking about a permanent move.Denayer says he wants to play for Man City, that may still be not next season.RD has stated he has opened up dialect with Man C about extending the deal for another season, and thinks it will go ahead.
Dallas Dallas & Delaney’s Dunky…
Kenny did score against them at Celtic Park, we lost 2-1. The only time he scored I think.
Still don’t recall Edvaldsson scoring at home though.
Tommy Gemmell scored in League Cup ties at Celtic Park and Ibrox and (2 goals in fact )in the early season 1969/70 Glasgow Cup Final at Hampden.
I am pretty sure legends McGrory and Quinn achieved the feat too.
Good question.
I cant for the life of me remember McGeady scoring at Ibrox
:-/
Dena, you’ve nae time for an affair. If your not spending half your life following the hoops yer busy sorting oot yer mans dinner.
I find it hard to believe that someone with a full compliment of serving staff and a personal butler actually cooks.
Looking forward to my stay at the estate in February:_)
Hail Hail Sister
Geordie Munro. So you claim what I say is utter rubbish without of course explaining why.
Please explain why and perhaps we can have a wee debate?
Evening,all.
Just read this report in The Guardian, about a far-from smart cop. First thing I thought of was Richard Pryor in Superman III.
