I took a nasty Pavlovian reaction today when I heard the radio announce “Derby day” before realising the presenter was talking about the actual Derby. The last thing anyone planning a night out in Glasgow is the ‘Glasgow derby’, as it was known in its final few years.
As anyone walking the streets of Glasgow and beyond in peace tonight will testify, we don’t want it or miss it. I prefer my football, like my streets, without this nonsense.
Knights Templar sequestrated? Blame those “enemies”. George Peat, Campbell Ogilvie and Lex Gold forced through his appointment as SFA chief executive, despite him not meeting selection criteria. As every wise footballer knows, know your level.
The magnificent framed Lionel Messi top we are auctioning for 1254125 has less than two days to run, keep an eye on it here.
Copies of Willie Wallace’ autobiography, Heart of a Lion, have been flying off the shelf. The mail order fulfilment centre will have stock replenished on Monday after running out. Order your copy below – still time for Father’s Day.

What about cup games at home? Would you buy a ticket and not attend therefore leaving your seat empty?
SUMMA OF SAMMI
My support of Celtic is indisputable, and beyond mere semantics.
My belief in the difference between right and wrong is indisputable, and beyond mere semantics.
My record for standing up to be counted when I see injustice is indisputable, and beyond mere semantics.
So please refrain from suggesting that my decision never to take any interest in a game against that lot makes me less of a fan or supporter than you or anyone else.
Good afternoon from a glorious day in sunny Balloch
Regarding EC67 point on playing them or it again, quite frankly
I just want them dead,Murray Park houses, ipox the biggest Tesco in glasgow,Scotland a better place without them, and no worries about playing them again.
PS have I missed anything in my comments.

I would do the same. However, the only problem with that is the Tribute Act would still get half of the gate money…

Two of us went through to see a friend in Alexandria two weeks ago.
Walked along “the Leven” past the marina in to Balloch then we sat out side on the riverbank eating one of the best fish suppers I have ever tasted.
A grand day was had by all.

You cannot beat the Loch on a beautiful day. Although it is always freezing for a swim.
I used to travel home and away on buses from the Stella Marie and Greenock Celtic. The only games I could not get tickets for was against them. The bus organisers told us that there were quite a few members who only went to those games. I stopped going to games against them and stopped watching games against them on TV ( apart from the last one… A bit history) Don’t miss them in the slightest…

I’d pay to see Celtic play the huns.
I have never hoven a flying duck about them apart from them dying. Which they have. We should not confuse that fact with the problems of obtaining a LEVEL playing field. That means the end of the SFA as we know it. As the title of the present thread demonstrates. Here is a guy that became chief exec at the SFA based on the claims of his accountancy prowess and we have supposedly intelligent posters on here dismissing conspiracy theories. How brain dead can you be and walk upright never mind log on and post on CQN.
Keeping the SFA intact means keeping the Old Firm. I state clearly my belief that this is what our PLC want.
Actions speak louder than words and when both are noteable by their abscence. You have to draw your own conclusions.

Hoven=given
They would have to win some cup ties before they got the chance to play us, what’s the chances of that with Sally the loaf hoarder in charge!
If Celtic are playing and I can go I would go , even if it were the zombies.I, like many want to see their reincarnation dead and buried and would have no problems not seeing their bigoted fizzogs again.
However, my love for Celtic is much greater than my loathing of the zombies.
No contest
Don’t miss thems at all, world would be a better place without them in it, cant abide all the bile they bring with them, why should they break every rule in the book, then be smug and declare they are the law, now move along timmy?

There is nothing wrong in loving the Old Firm more than Celtic. Just be honest about it.

That’s like saying you love your mother in law more than your wife…
Hold on a minute
Meanwhile over on RM, a very large number of pennies is starting to drop about Chuckles, King, Walty, the IPO and the role of D&P. The odd thing is that, whilst it’s starting to dawn on the brighter ones that they’ve been taken to the cleaners more often than Monica Lewinsky’s frock, there is hardly a mention anywhere of CW or SDM! It’s as if they never existed.
Even the more gormless are starting to realise that the ST money is going towards last years’ bills.
The way things are going, the new football club is in significant debt to the new parent company, the new parent company has no credit-it’s only source of income is the new football club.

Celtic can’t play their old rivals ever again, deid is deid and all that.
I have no real desire to watch the zombie version but may be tempted for the comical aspect of it.
Anyway let the Huns remain deid we shouldn’t be wasting our time talking about them in a football capacity, as a corrupt organisation though I think there’s mileage in that.
Another cracking day along the NW coast of engerlund, a good week ahead I believe.

Just 7-8m left of the IPO. lol!
They have the right man as chairman then. Walter has spent his entire career throwing money he does not have at a rangers problem.

I agree, after having personal experience of their behaviour, I would never tire of telling anyone how much I don’t want them anywhere near Celtic in any form.
Their=Huns , not my wife or mother in law
My concern is that they appear to have been allowed to dump their debt and continue as if they are the same club , if the football authorities both in Scotland and in Europe allow this to happen then the baw is burst .
Teams could run up huge debt levels to win competitions then write off the debt when it becomes unmanageable and then do the same again .
As others have already said , if we thought the cheating to help them before was bad then we ain’t seen nothing yet , everything and anything will be done to aid their orange walk to the top .
Going up to skye via ferry in July from erskine, thinking of stopping overnight on way up, mini raspberry not good in car, anywhere reasonable and clean will be considered.
Raspberry,
We will “reluctantly” play them AND the season after it will be joint sponsorship. OUR 5 way agreement having come good.
Of course we will say that it had nothing to do with us. What can poor we Celtic do ?
HH
Would I watch Celtic play The Rangers?
Of course. It’s always nice to add a new club to the list of those you’ve seen play.
I don’t speak for my brothers, my mates, or any other Celtic Supporter or fan, I speak for myself and I don’t hate the huns; I can’t bring myself to hate them because all they are doing is what they have been encouraged to do, humoured to do, tolerated to do.
They too were born into their family. They were brought up, just like us, to believe that, their culture, their traditions, their values, their ethos, albeit theirs being one of supremacy, is the way things should be…
It is not the terracing hun that is deserving of your contempt, it is the ones in the shadows, the ones who have the power to bring about ‘a level playing field’ both in sporting terms and social terms, but who chose to say nothing, instead insidiously promoting hatred; they are the ones who I despise and they have offices in the media, in the police force, in government, in the bowling clubs.
Some of the best moments of my life were but suspended, an oh so often relived, seconds in a game of football when the ball hit the back of the Rangers net.
They are not going to be allowed to die… ever. They are not the people nor are they an orange chimera, they are just huns.
I’ll support my team, my club, my culture, my ethos, my family, come what may; regardless of who stands by my shoulder and whomsoever decides they’ll walk away.

I’m afraid your probably right. Money is money after all.
Afternoon everyone,
For anyone interested The Junior Cup final is live on Bbc Alba (virgin channel 188)
Auchinleck Talbot versus Limlithgow Rose
Both teams won there respective leagues this season
Before you lose the rag Awe_Naw… I’ll defend them against the establishment and external detractors, I would not defend them against ‘Green Quislings’.
meanwhile back at the ranch thems are deliberating whether they should go into spl2 or spl1, some are even of the opinion they should come through the leagues, so if & when they reach the top they can gloat, what is it going to take for them to realise they are the tribute act & cant afford the players they have never mind their new signings? liquidation 2 on the horizon!
HH

I also don’t hate them, tbh they do come close along with Hitler, Ian Paiey and the those marching orange bigots.
I find life is better craic without the hatred and it leaves more energy to enjoy the good stuff.

Off topic request for info.
Have the dates been announced for the Euro qualifiers?
V
I’m afraid we will have no choice in a couple of years . We will have to play the zombies sometimes.
Unless the go bust.
Or
We resign from the league.
Both of which I hope happens.
The only way we can leave the zombies behind and not play them is if we play in another league.
God speed that day IMO
