Tests for agricultural fields of Lanarkshire

750

Efe Ambrose is quite rightly receiving praise for an impressive debut on Tuesday but these are still early days, our comrades from Fife didn’t present a great challenge.  Berman Kayal also put in a sold shift and, for the record, I’ve been more impressed by him than the even more lauded Victor Wanyama, when both have been on top form, but I would not consider either for a start in Moscow.

With five days until we play Spartak it was more important we saw Joe Ledley, if only briefly.  Joe will need 90 minutes on Saturday.  Even if he gets this he might still be short of fitness for the Champions League.  The most important result from Saturday will hopefully be Georgios Samaras coming through 90 minutes without incident.

Along with Scott Brown, Georgios is one of only two players with Champions League experience prior to this season.  He was also absolutely critical in Celtic breezing through the qualifiers.  Fir Park is a tight, agricultural, field compared to the expansive artificial surface of the Luzhniki, but it will be a good proving ground for anyone hoping to impress Neil Lennon with their fitness.

The latest PID radio broadcast is real in depth analysis from a Biblical and Christian perspective. It is why JFK was murdered IMO after hearing the stuff for years. They did not want Co-operation between Humanity, that is reserved for the Great Teacher…..the false Messiah.

All the above stuff is prophesied in the Bible.

    FREEWILL no more.

The will is being taken away systematically anyway, it will feel like a natural thing to those that have no Strong Convictions anymore.

    OOH AAAAHHHH UP the Yaya.

As soon as I heard Efe was a Bible Believer in God I knew straight away this was his home and I know he will be even better than Victor. I cannae gee him much mair praise than that.

  6. The full Celtic support need to Unite and get the harrassment of the Green Brigade stopped at Celtic Park as the Stadium charter is there to keep Everyone in check through the Ticket and surveillance.

There are no huns anymore in the SPL, Rangers are a dodo club.

The Celtic Board can get it stopped pronto, surely.

What is antagonising the Police about the Green Brigade exactly?

No more filming inside Celtic Park surely of Celtic’s finest singers?

There is absolutely no justification for filming Celtic fans at Celtic Park now, there never was anyway so it is time for the Celtic Board to get this invasion of privacy Stopped now.

I know my Son will want to go to games in a couple of years by himself and I think I know where he will want to head towards. Criminalised for wanting to go where the atmosphere is?

I was a person who joined in the disgraceful chants directed towards Mark Walters, I certainly didn’t know any better, Mark was just a Rangers player, the enemy.

Young Aidan is the most tolerant of young people and feels more at home with ethnic minorities than those of his own skin….Probably because he moved from St Brides (just off Victoria Road) midway in his Primary School education to St Vincents in East Kilbride.

And he could be criminalised at CELTIC PARK for wanting to join in with the Green Brigade in the future.

We need to protect what is good and there is no need for any surveillance at Celtic Park now.

Get the extremely offensive cameramen out of the stadium.

  7. Paranoia

It’s obvious that the fans of the previous team which inhabited the reeds downriver from us have now usurped our title of being the most paranoid fans in the world.

For years “You’re just being paranoid” was the retort of last resort on radio phone ins, before it was replaced by the “internet bampot” jibe from bemused, baffled and bewildered hosts.

Bloated on intimate lunches of succulent lamb, dismissive journalists indulged our paranoia aspirations, and we gratefully embraced the label.

Events of the last year may have proved that in fact we were not paranoid enough, but that is not the reason for this plea.

Due to years of complacency and lack of foresight and planning, we have been overtaken by the zombies.

The unseen hand of Peter Lawell, the SFA / SPL / bias, the distortion of facts by certain interests in the media, legal manipulations, political interference and the UEFA Catholic conspiracy have gained credibility in the zombie persecution lexicon.

They have successfully elevated paranoia from the merely delusional level to a full hallucinatory peak. A level we only briefly achieved.

Meanwhile our unconcerned support and management stand by, seemingly accepting the fact that we are now second best in the paranoia stakes. We have been overcome by their mastery of the paranoia condition and outflanked by their latest masterstroke of highlighting inconsequential attendance figures, completely ignoring their financial plight and current lowly position in the league structure.

HMRC? FTT? EBTs? Do they even exist?

I blame our board, the Green Brigade and the likes of CQN, RTC, Paul McConville and Phil Mac Giolla Bhain.

These self confessed internet bampots have consistently highlighted hitherto unpalatable truths, and in doing so have undermined the authority and prestige of the local establishment organs.

In doing so, however, they have allowed us to lessen our vigilance in the paranoia stakes. While the playing fields were being levelled, we indulged in green jelly and ice cream and our new found inside knowledge and righteous rejoicing.

However, we dropped our guards and allowed the zombies to march past us and claim our rightful paranoia prominence, while we slept at the switch.

Despite our pitiful attempts to get back on terms with the zombies after Motherwell’s capitulation on Wednesday, we remain second as our efforts were weak, uncoordinated and too disjointed.

We have an opportunity to regain our rightful position before Saturday by highlighting Collum’s past indiscretions, McCall’s zombie leanings, his team’s tendency to lie down against the zombies and their predilection for agricultural tackles.

Rally round boys we must regain our paranoia predominance.

It was a title gained and held for 5 generations of paranoia domination, we must ensure that it is passed on and cherished by our grand children.

Let’s get off our backsides and show them we are the rightful owners of the paranoid epithet.

  18. Good morning CQNers,

Thanks to leftclicktic @ 19:13 on27 September, 2012 for posting the youtube of Efe Ambrose’s debut. Although debuts aren’t always good indicators the young man played a very assured game and he definitely has a football brain allied to no small amount of ability, if his attitude is right he could go a long way.

Did Vincent Lunney have a day off yesterday? When’s McCullough going to be cited?

Obviously Chas Green knew he’d be out of his comfort zone if he appeared before Lord Nimmo Smith’s investigation into EBT’s. Being new to the Scottish scene he didn’t have the personal contacts but it looks as if Murray is being lined up to attend.

    http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/opinion/spiers-on-sport-green-and-murray-should-both-testify-at-spl-probe.1348610579

If Murray attends it raises questions about how much clout he brings, does he bring a new sinister dynamic of powerful background influences into the equation? He’s definitely not the sacrificial lamb.

    Lennon welcomes Samaras return

Neil Lennon welcomed the return of striker Georgios Samaras as he looks forward to an important week in Celtic’s season

A win over Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday could take the Hoops top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League ahead of their Champions League Group G clash with Spartak Moscow in Russia on Tuesday.

The Parkhead boss is getting most of his squad back to full fitness, but he was especially glad to see Samaras join in training on Thursday day for the first time since injuring his elbow on international duty with Greece earlier in the month.

    Player Profile9. Georgios Samaras

    Appearances11 (1)

    Goals3

    Assists2

“He is a key man and we have missed him at times,” said Lennon. “He does seem to thrive in the European environment and we will give him every opportunity to be fit for Saturday and Tuesday.

“He came through his first proper training session yesterday and feels pretty comfortable with the cast we have had made for him.”

The former Celtic skipper was unsure whether Rangers had done his side a favour by beating the Steelmen 2-0 in their Scottish Communities League Cup third-round at Ibrox on Wednesday night, the night after the Hoops had eased past Raith Rovers and into the quarter-finals with a 4-1 win.

Lennon said: “I don’t know how damaging that (Rangers) result will be for Motherwell, but they are at home and Fir Park is always a tough venue.

“Psychologically it would be great going in to the game next week (top of the SPL), but all our focus is on Motherwell and trying to build up a bit of momentum, particularly domestically.

“I was really pleased with the performance on Tuesday and I want to take that into the game on Saturday.

“Motherwell have started the season very well. However, we are very motivated to go and win the game.

“And it is nice to have a three-o’clock kick-off on a Saturday, particularly, for an away game.

“All the ingredients are there for a great game and I’m sure we will provide one.”
