Tests for agricultural fields of Lanarkshire

750

Efe Ambrose is quite rightly receiving praise for an impressive debut on Tuesday but these are still early days, our comrades from Fife didn’t present a great challenge.  Berman Kayal also put in a sold shift and, for the record, I’ve been more impressed by him than the even more lauded Victor Wanyama, when both have been on top form, but I would not consider either for a start in Moscow.

With five days until we play Spartak it was more important we saw Joe Ledley, if only briefly.  Joe will need 90 minutes on Saturday.  Even if he gets this he might still be short of fitness for the Champions League.  The most important result from Saturday will hopefully be Georgios Samaras coming through 90 minutes without incident.

Along with Scott Brown, Georgios is one of only two players with Champions League experience prior to this season.  He was also absolutely critical in Celtic breezing through the qualifiers.  Fir Park is a tight, agricultural, field compared to the expansive artificial surface of the Luzhniki, but it will be a good proving ground for anyone hoping to impress Neil Lennon with their fitness.

As a guess, I’d say UEFA just making sure that the zombie progeny never darken the doors of any club outside of Scotland ever again? Perhaps they look back fondly at the showcase final in Manchester in 2008? :)))

  3. “old firm”

We only need to look back to the supporters outrage at the joint sponsorship with tennents to see how unhappy we are being tagged to the cheating bigots.

Peter Lawwel was left in no doubt at the roadshow that the support want nothing to with the “old firm” tag.

Treat them exactly as they are, a new club starting out in the 3rd division and try and have all at the club avoid any mention of “old firm” in any dealings with the press.

Thankfully they fit anti-syphon traps on vehicles these days, though I was reading today that straightforward credit card/pin theft is on the rise. You can never be too careful! :)

Should we draw sevco at paradise in the cup, I will not attend then game since sevco will get half the gate money.

However I think PL should market the tickets by saying prices are a tenner for adults and a fiver for concessions as that is what we charge for games against third division opposition.

I would, of course, charge the sevconians 35 quid since they are getting to see Champions League opponents.

another option ( if we get the home tie ) would be for PL to announce the game is free on the season book. this would mean that they would only be getting half of the money that they are paying.

Tony Watt has still a long way to go. He’s not made it yet, but he has the potential. There’s still a lot of hard work in front of him.

  17. Furth, with two dots above the u, have a strip like our CL one with all green on the back instead of white, nice, although they looked gash in a footballing capacity. Nike take note.

  18. garygillespieshamstring on

Pedrocaravanachio67 : That would be better for season ticket holders and for giving sevco less money. I just like the idea of noising them up a bit.

    philvis…,

I’m more inclined to think the childrens appointed social class has more to do with the problem than just fear of offending criminals.

As you say this is unlikely to be an isolated incident, exposing child abuse organisations has become a regular occurance.

An underclass whose liberty is not protected is present in the UK and has been ignored for too long, however the same crimes will be happening in every other level of society and the perpretators are as likely to be white as any other race.

I’d be more inclined to question their membership of secret organisations than their religon, people are more afraid of offending power. The authotities allowed this to happen for years. Theres a orphanage in the north which suffered the same fate, the Channel Islands suffered the same fate Troon, everywhere there are vulnerable people there seems to be an organisation already abusing them. After exposure these things are very quickly buried investigations rarely extend beyond the immediate cell, with strategic exceptions.

No pal, there is a bigger problem than fear of offending a minoirity.
