On Tuesday we covered the financial benefit Celtic experienced after Brexit due to the fall in the value of the pound against the euro – the currency Champions League payments are denominated in. Today Manchester United revealed a different aspect to the same economic calamity.
Much of Manchester United’s debt is denominated in US dollars. As a consequence of Brexit, the pound also collapsed against the dollar; this alone added an astonishing £88m to the club’s debt figure.
I see Newco fans are busying themselves debating who should replace Warburton as their next manager. Fans do this, it’s a Pavlovian response to unfulfilled expectations. Many feel it’s a right and appropriate discourse, but watching from the outside you can see how destructive it is.

The Road to Lisbon May 2017 Cycle
I am genuinely in awe of the fans who will cycle from Celtic Park to Estadio Nacional, Lisbon, in May to raise money for your Foundation, Solving Kids Cancer and Children in Crossfire. It is an incredible personal undertaking by each of them, which will bring aid and comfort to many in need.

Yes Sharon Brown is currently a non Executive Director. However She brings vast experience from the retail sector and her job will be to advise and challenge the board by providing constructive criticism. I think Celtic have been very shrewd here and they will dismiss her contributions at their peril. A females perspective is long overdue, especially combined with sound business knowledge.
As for Karen Brady, what can I say. She has fought adversity in health and blatent sexism to get where she is today. She has shattered the glass ceiling and has shown women and girls that there is a place for them in the top tier of football. As for business, whether you agree with her politics or not she has promoted the female voice.
I believe she clarified her views on rebranding West Ham.
Her record from Birmingham to making West Ham the third best supported team in England speaks for itself. I also believe the comments on here earlier about massive advancement in their global branding is food for thought.

I don’t think he can ban him from speaking, As the article says, he and the speaker of the House of Lords consult on extending an invitation, to me he obviously expected to be overruled by unelected people therefore preempted that by making his feelings public.
