The paper say they were due to provide analysis for the Celtic match away to Real Betis and the Rangers game at home to Lyon from Ibrox.
However, BT Sport have now been informed it is not possible to accommodate the duo because of ‘security concerns’.

The above link suggests that the first results/findings will be published in 2022, so I presume that’s what Ms McKay meant.
FWIW she is a regular contributor to the Guardian on the issue of 6-county Unionism and generally appears fairly liberal on the issue.

I’d say that at a ‘boots on the ground’ level the inability to guarantee the safety of two football pundits in a fixed location for a maximum period of 5 hours is the responsibility of Police Scotland.
I agree it is a disgrace and deserves to be broadcast far and wide.
IMO however it says more about Police Scotland and the G51s than Scotland.
