Nir Bitton’s goal was special but two goals last night were more significant. Leigh Griffiths header for the first belied the player’s height and stature. His scoring record with his head in recent months has been spectacular, whether darting into space to nick the ball goal-wards, as he did away to Dundee and Dundee United, or when he uses his salmon-leap to get up and stay up.
When he was at Livingston Leigh was the next hot young thing. For whatever reason his path to the top wasn’t straight, but he’s now first choice striker at Scotland’s top club and making the most of it.
James Forrest’s goal was also full of what we want to see from him. One-on-one with a defender, with space to run into, he did what he needed to do. His pace took him past the defender and turned an opportunity into great chance.
Several players are finishing the season strongly.

I personally know two of Des’s brothers who are/were season ticket holders at Celtic Park
He comes from a well known Celtic supporting family from Milton of Campsie
I believe a number of his siblings were educated at a well known Jesuit School in the Garnethill area of Glasgow
I’d rather someone told it as he sees it rather than resort to the fawning sycophantic attitudes of some that prevails in here
Just because you don’t post on a football blog ad nauseam

I believe a number of his siblings were educated at a well known Jesuit School in the Garnethill area of Glasgow He himself attended St Ninians in Kirkintilloch
His time at Celtic was cut short due to the fact that he would not commit to a full time contract choosing instead to further his education at Jordanhill college
I’d rather someone told it as he sees it rather than resort to the fawning sycophantic attitudes of some that prevails in here
Just because you don’t post on a football blog ad nauseam of how you have been to mass that day doesn’t make you any less of a Celtic supporter than those who do

Identical apart from the penalty and sending off
STAIRHEEDRAMMY
Diouf didn’t throw his top at him,he threw it into the huns after the match. Despite a clear warning from a senior Police Officer.
Murray was rag-dolled by Buggerit at his sending off. Easy mistake to make.
The rules, incidentally(!)make no mention of feeling threatened while being manhandled by a player. But of course there are exceptions under the hun lethemaeaywieverything clause.
Paul67,
I thought James finished that goal superbly well, it was a brilliant finish.
Hearts on holiday. Sevco gash. Even if they go up, it’s a total rebuild for them next year.
Paul 67,
I was at the game last night and thought big Nir’s the pick of the bunch, but just saw a highlights and changed my mind, Brown’s goal for me was top of the class. Great timing in the pass from Commons, perfect pace, and great run by Brown and excellent finish.

I thought all the goals were crackers last night, a real goalfest..
If hertz pull one back they’ll bottle it.
13:26 on BBC sport, Falkirk v Hibs, 51 minutes gone, Hearts v Thems 45 mins gone.
More mibbery
It was said that Broony’s goal last night was touched by every Celtic player without Dundee touching it.
Away to check.
Great goals last night.
Loved Biton’s the most. He’s threatened to do that for months.
Imagine that decision in the match today IF the original match schedule had taken place.
Can’t believe Hertz won the league with such ease, they’re pants.
“Many Celtic fans have had enough of the cheating and the clubs acceptance of it. They also shrug their shoulders and say why should we bother.”
Jude no not really I’m like this all the time!!
Congrats on the other night
Thrilled for yez
Bobby M, watching it I saw Douff throw his top at the ref before heading to the rioting Huns where he pushed past the copper and threw it into them. Murray ignored it, probably writing in his diary that he felt all excited with the attention.
mickbhoy1888
Not a bother mate. He writes for the Sun and he perpetuates the myth that the huns didn’t die.
As I said I hope he enjoys spending the silver.
Ps wrong, he was desperate to stay at Celtic, Billy McNeil released him.

As you say BCW each to their own…….which one best identifies you………the fawning or the sycophantic

Brilliant witty wee crack there. If I were you,I would let sleeping dogs lie and hope that they don’t read this blog.
If not, apparently my namesake is a hotshot lawyer in the six counties and even jailed Ian Paisly Jr.
