VIVID IN COLOUR, VIBRANT IN EMOTION, A REMARKABLE VISUAL HISTORY OF CELTIC

0
CELTIC IN ART is a stunning exhibition of some of the most iconic images in Celtic’s history.
Tom Campbell, c0-author of The Glory and the Dream alongside Pat Woods, selected some very famous Celtic moments and commissioned a very talented Cuban artist to paint these. The results are stunning.

Last week, in a conversation with Paul67, I suggested that Celtic should move quickly to secure ALL of these paintings for the new club museum. Hopefully some of these paintings will find a home at Celtic Park for the wider support to enjoy.
However and in the meantime, I cannot recommend highly enough that you take the chance to see them all for yourself at the Exhibition launch night which is taking place at The Penalty Spot, just off Duke Street in Glasgow.
Celtic author Paul Dykes is helping put the Celtic in Art Exhibition together.
“CQN’ers will love Celtic in Art,” he told us last night.  “It is a stunning collection of 23 oil paintings, commissioned by Celtic author and historian, Tom Campbell, and painted by Cuban artist, Yoanis Rigo Comet.
“Vivid in colour, vibrant in emotion, this art constitutes a remarkable visual history of one of the most iconic football clubs in world football.”
These works are now available to purchase, along with a selection of limited edition prints.
You can get your free invitations to the launch party by emailing Paul Dykes, details below.
