ERIK SVIATCHENKO wants Celtic to become ‘The Untouchables’. Now Moussa Dembele is eager for them to be known as ‘The Invincibles’!
“So, if we keep playing like this and keep showing we are hungry, no-one can beat us.
“We just have to keep going, keep working hard in training. It is important to celebrate success and that is what we will do.
“But after this we will keep working because the season is not finished yet. We’ve got one trophy, but there are two more to come and we will do everything to win them.”
Dembele, 20, won his first trophy at the weekend in his spectacular debut season at Parkhead after his £500,000 development fee deal from Championship side Fulham.
“So, it’s nothing more than I anticipated. I expected to do my best and that’s what I’ve done so far.
“I’m confident even in bad moments, but we are in a good mood, we keep winning games and I keep scoring goals.
“So, we have to enjoy it and keep working hard for it to continue.
“I came here to win trophies and score goals and I’ve done both in the Final.
“It feels great to have one trophy already. That was the first target when I came here and that’s what we’ve done.
“Of course, when you play as well as we have played, you want a reward and this was our reward for the first four or five months we’ve been working together.
“If we keep in this way there is a lot more to come.
“The manager has been great. You can see a big improvement between this team and last season and it’s good to work alongside him.
“I feel we can keep improving, keep progressing and be a better team.”
