I wonder if we will see two rival Scottish Premier Leagues next season? We could see a SPL consistent with the threats made to SFL clubs last week, let’s call it SPL Loyal, with Hibs, KIlmarnock and a few others. They would sit atop a feeder league containing whoever they could attract from the SFL and Sevco, who due to fan power would be excluded from the top division, no matter how few teams that division had.
Meanwhile a rival SPL could setup, let’s call it SPL Solvent, with Celtic, those from the Gang of 10 who realise they are better-off participating in a league which is likely to survive until next May, along with the teams who last season finished near the top Scottish Football league.
SPL Solvent would make no threats to exclude SFL clubs who were due promotion on merit, and would therefore attract the balance of SFL clubs; which is likely to be the overwhelming majority. This league would contain the only club with the ability to underwrite the commitments needed to bring broadcasters and commercial partners on-board. It would also be free of, moral and ethical questions, where clubs are united with their fans on what it means to organise sporting events.
It’s not the worst idea floated in recent weeks.

ITV
At least Townsend is listenable!!
I think Lawro might be the worst of them all, Beglin is bad but Lawro is another level to them all
Wee Q while we’re in the mood. Did they ever find Glenn Millers plane?
Greenie said he had identified19 players from Euro 2012 – well I can confirm that if he had bought programmes for the games he could have identified over 300 players

I think at the time, they thougt Mark Kerr was the better keeper, he had back problems though and never really fulfilled his potential
another peach from spain
Nightmare commentary team would be Green/Beglin. Never forgive they feckers for their Radio 5 commentary when we drew 2-2 at home to Liverpool.
I was in a bar in Protarus, Cyprus watching a satellite feed for the pictures, with audio from Beeb World Service. Never heard such anti-Celtic bias in my life.
2-0 to Spain!
T4
Brilliant goal.
That left back is nearly as good as oor Izzy

Yup in Chattanooga I believe.
Celtic First
2-0 Spain at HT, looks like you’ll have your wish.
Will certainly be interesting to see what the Italians do now.
Shay was only 16 in 1992.
Answer is Stewart Kerr.
What about Celtic reserve keeper in 1990…!?
The guy had blonde hair – dont think he ever made a 1st team appearance
VAMONOS ESPAÑA.
C’mon Spain – my -2 @ 11/1 looking no’ bad!
Anyone still think this will go to penalties?
These goals Spain are scoring are straight out the Jock Stein book after master genius tactitional brilliance.

I have Gomez top scorer at 9′s ;)
@@@
You won’t get anything like that though as there are about 5 dead-heating.
Glenn Millers plane was found in his workshop along with his lathe and chisel
forza italia
2 goals for Italy in the 2nd half then Spain to win in ET would give me big bucks but 1 then a 2nd goal for either team will see me happy.

Or Pennsylvania :))
haft time 2.0
Italy actually played quite well but Spains class is there to see
Right I’ve got 400 Quid if the score stays as is
Gomez will be top scorer …with only 3 goals!
Do I sit and worry or cover the angles?
Decisions
Can’t see that happening though, Spain don’t really concede that why they are so great.
am no in the mood for any Glen Miller jokes :(
Mis-heard lyrics
“Pardon me bhoy is that the cat that chewed your new shoes”
