So why go to court when you know you have signed up to a rule (literally) that forbids you from going to court and that will almost certainly lead to your expulsion from football?
Because almost certainly being expelled from football is a better option than the alternative.

I don’t believe for one moment that D + P are behind this. This is being paid for, not by them, but by the fightin’fund. It’ their fight and we all know who they are and what lengths they will go to. I believe that when the post-mortem is done on all this , D + P will come out smelling of roses with evidence of being bullied, threatened, harassed through the whole process. I can only see three logical reasons why the huns would announce that they are taking this through the courts.
1. They have accepted defeat on this one and if they drop into the 1st division they will by default not be liable for sanctions issued by the SPL. Rebuild, and better than 3rd division.
2. They have accepted that they are totally knackered and the only leveller left is to pull the whole of Scottish football down with them. Everyone starts from scratch again.
3. They are just stupid huns – like the same ones who have been successfully using every measure at their disposal to cheat us for the last 125 years.
My money is on 1. or 2. Champagne on ice for the moment.
