Who we are and our values

1097

For some months now, a CQN’er and academic has prepared a project to identify who we, the Celtic support, are in 2014, what our views are, where we come from and how closely our objectives align with the Club.

The project takes the form of a questionnaire, which asks some personal questions, like your political leanings, intentions for the Referendum, faith, education and ethnic heritage.  No sign-up is involved and no identifying information is available.

There are also questions on the Offensive Behaviour Act, as well as the Club’s response to Resolution 12, The Green Brigade and the Living Wage.

The objective is to determine why you support Celtic and whether these reasons are being recognised and served.

I know Celtic have held similar surveys in the past but I’m not aware of a recent academic survey into these questions.  The survey will close on Friday 26th September and results will be reported thereafter.

As with all surveys, the more people who participate the more reflective the results will be, so please 10 minutes to get involved.  You’ll find the survey here.

If you have any questions for the author in relation to the survey please email cqn.survey@orange.fr

Thanks.

Pertaining to the above are allegations made about Aleks Tonev over the weekend.

It’s difficult to see where this one goes if the player says “I didn’t say that” without corroboration either way.  Despite this, the allegation is damaging to Celtic, and to the player, so an internal and public reaction is needed to reiterate the values of the club.

Celtic’s induction process should be clear what is and is not acceptable.

I’ve scanned the Newsnow referendum pages over the last few weeks.

In summation one theme seems to come through clearly:

“Scotland you sweaty upstarts, get to the back of the bus. You are clearly unappreciative of being lorded over by us glorious and magnificent English imperialists. And while you’re at it give us your cash, Lizzie needs another glorious dwelling.”

  2. Any information on the latest sevco share issue? I thought last Friday was the final day but there has been nothing reported.

  3. Vote no – have SOME powers and the scraps off the Westminster table.

Vote YES- have ALL the powers

    It’s that easy

Yes, however the celebs and public figures are SCOTTISH, who have a vote and who’s bank balance won’t be knocked by those Scottish upstarts.

As for the politics, you obviously haven’t been following the recent upswing in right wing English politics. It’s hardly conjecture, study the voting stats.

Rupert Murdoch, who has transcended any borders with his red top drivel, would have come out weeks if not months ago if he really did support Yes. Again, another leech looking to make a penny.

Just saw Ogilvie on STV News. He said the compliance officer was looking at it and therefore he couldn’t comment. He didn’t even mention the police.

Tom McLaughlin. The news reader said the police were investigating Jungle Parrot is correct. H.H.

Now now, don’t call me a patriot… Rick Wakeman, Jon Anderson?? They’re as Progressively British as it comes shurely?

  13. Started the survey there. Got to the question about rating certain factors that influence my support of Celtic – do we rate then 1 to 6 with 1 being ‘most important’ or the other way round?
