Whyte, Ticketus or their proxy the only show in town

971

Sterling work by Chris McLaughlin at the BBC who brought us the news that Duff and Phelps have rejected a bid for Rangers from Brian Kennedy, the owner English rugby club, Sale Sharks.  Earlier today Kennedy suggested the administrators get their act together and move towards appointing a preferred bidder.

A preferred bidder may now be identified, if not yet publicly announced.

I can imagine the process to whittle bidders down:

‘Tell me, do you own Ibrox Stadium or security and floating charge over it?’

‘No?  Ah, that’s a problem, as we don’t have it either.  Where do you propose to play matches?’

‘Forget that one, someone tipped off St Mirren.’

‘Don’t take that tone with me, we’re doing our best in difficult circumstances and we’ve not been paid a pound.  Yet.’

Craig Whyte controls the security and floating charge over Ibrox.  He provided Ticketus with security for the money they due on the season tickets they purchased, worth in the region of £40m.

Mr Whyte and Ticketus, or a proxy, are the only show in town – and that show is not a CVA.  Everything else is just shooting the breeze at £600 per hour.

They have been living a lie for decades and now they’re all wondering around in their saggy underpants and old slippers, but still acting like they are the people.

The entire scam (only possible by a campaign of myth and complicity) has been exposed.

They are officially the most stupid fans on the planet. :)

Lovely story in this week’s Celtic View about a Spanish fella who starting supporting us as a lad because he loved the strip.

Since then, he’s been over to Scotland loads of times to see us, all over Europe and is as fanatical as they come. Was recently over at the League Cup Final and talks also about how much he loves Lenny.

Humbling to see the sacrifices people make for something many of us take for granted – strolling up to Celtic Park to watch the hoops.

Pity your Spanish adventure didn’t work out, obviously not ment to be, you are young so there will be time enough.

Daughter arrived last night and grandaughter who is just turned 5 speaks better Spanish than I do, I have a feeling that they will move here sooner rather than later.

As for the brits, most from the village have gone home to get their benefits, the handfull who are left are good people, the problem ones are not from around here.

Why would UEFA let a club who might not be around next season into their competition?

Funny enough grounds for exclusion are no accounts received by 31 March and that means the full audited accounts and the Interims based on the latter.

The unpaid tax clauses might not apply to either the wee tax case amount outstanding as its under appeal as is the btc BUT unless the unpaid VAT/PAYE since May is paid tomorrow (£9/15m) they have that hurdle to get round.

    I’m confused, as ever.

I thought the wee tax case wasn’t under appeal until CW decided not to pay it at the end of last year, before that they had agreed to pay it, is that correct ?
