Whyte, Ticketus or their proxy the only show in town

971

Sterling work by Chris McLaughlin at the BBC who brought us the news that Duff and Phelps have rejected a bid for Rangers from Brian Kennedy, the owner English rugby club, Sale Sharks.  Earlier today Kennedy suggested the administrators get their act together and move towards appointing a preferred bidder.

A preferred bidder may now be identified, if not yet publicly announced.

I can imagine the process to whittle bidders down:

‘Tell me, do you own Ibrox Stadium or security and floating charge over it?’

‘No?  Ah, that’s a problem, as we don’t have it either.  Where do you propose to play matches?’

‘Forget that one, someone tipped off St Mirren.’

‘Don’t take that tone with me, we’re doing our best in difficult circumstances and we’ve not been paid a pound.  Yet.’

Craig Whyte controls the security and floating charge over Ibrox.  He provided Ticketus with security for the money they due on the season tickets they purchased, worth in the region of £40m.

Mr Whyte and Ticketus, or a proxy, are the only show in town – and that show is not a CVA.  Everything else is just shooting the breeze at £600 per hour.

    That was last weekend.

The problem tonight was I posted a link and for some reason unbeknown to me it too who ever clicked on it to their own hotmail account, and a poster got miffed, quite within his rights as he thought I was playing silly buggers, which was not the case, I had no idea what I did, and Paul gave me a yellow card for my discression, which I thought was a tad harsh, and said so.

I have since found out they were no Pakistanis that done my young fella, they were Turkish, I apologise unreservedly to anyone that I offended that night, for using the word I did, it was the naughty schoolboy lecture that got me miffed.

It’s been sorted anyways, the wonders of the interweb, and the power of a phone.

Regans defence that they didnt investigate CW because there are directors changes everyday at every level is laughable.

Are we really supposed to believe that the SFA is entitled blindly to accept a self certificate from the second biggest club in Scotland with all of its high profile difficulties in the same way as it would for a club from the Juniors or even amateurs?

An utter dereliction of duty which is being dragged , inexorably ,into the light and ,with it , Scottish football exposed for the cosy wee jobs for the blazers club it is.

The question is – is Regan big enough to see the games up and act accordingly?

I have not doubted your info and what you have said has come to fruition so far, not as hard hitting as some would have hoped for, but, we are dealing with powers here that AT has not come across before, I hope the man has the courage to go through with his convictions, if he has, he will become a legend, if not………

Yes thers 2 bars. Try the smaller one for comfort and the big one for the turns. Some good some not so good. The guy in the Bamboo Bar pours a mean Whisky in a big vase and the taxi rank is right outside if you need it. You dont happen to be going to the Harbour Club do you? Been going ther for twelve years now in October. Lots of good eating places in L G.

    Love it!!
