Even allowing for the opposition and the ” everything to lose” factor, we wee mince to day and this type of performance shows that there may be deeper issues within the camp.
Someone earlier was talking about watching the body language of RD and his team, there was no need to be an expert. His team spoke for him.
the long wait is over on
Genuine question
Why was Efe delegated to put in crosses from the right wing?
As I said before the game, getting into the next round was all that mattered, after the week we have had we were never going to get the performance we would have hoped for.
But we are in the draw on Monday.

Predictable non event of a game. Well done East Kilbride. The money will make a massive difference to their future.

Well that’s us in the hat the morra and that’s all that counts. Anyone that wants us tae run a cricket score up against a new wee team, except the one from the south side, is a zombie.

Nob giving all……….. ALL the plaudits to EK and in-fact proclaiming EK as winners…………..
Only In Scoddland, where Liquidation is NOT forever.
Never listen to the commentators but I know why. BBC going in to overdrive in trying to do us down.

Both Forrest and Mulgrew will be gone soon enough hopefully.

‘I think that sends a message to Aberdeen. We have a lot of talent in this team. I working hard every day to improve the players. If we play EK next year we will score 3 goals’

OK result.
We would have got very little credit today had we won 10-0.
2-0 with the outcome never in doubt.
Hopefully we kick on soon because there’s still a staleness about us which is worrying at this time of year.

very comfortable win but too many basic errors throughout the game. Forrest can’t pass, can’t shoot and doesn’t provide effort to compensate for these faults. Cant believe we don’t have a natural right back to cover for lustig. Positives , brown another 90 mins, mulgrew game time and Eric looks head and shoulder above the rest. I’d consider him in midfield once sumonovic returns.
Next game is huge for us and i have to say i’m concerned about our coaching staff!

Job done.
Well done EK performed better than a full time zombie team did against us last season. Ronny on a hiding to nothing. Not the greatest performance by a Celtic team, not the worst, but if the double is won this game will only be remembered by the denizens of EK.

Bailey easy day
Tierney – very good
Boyata- nothing to do
Sviatchenko- very good
Efe- ran a lot
Forrest- only appeared in 2nd half
Mulgrew- unnoticed
Brown – ok
Griff -good
GMS- ok
Kaz -good
Game did not alter with subs.
Same laborious build up.
No penetration and zero off the ball movement
We do not resemble a team

When we really play no team in Scotland can live with us but when we play like we did today we are abysmal, pedestrian and unimaginative. Missed chance to give young lads an opportunity to show what they had to offer but RD chose to play old stagers.

Celtic Supporters need to start SUPPORTING and LIFTING the team, like the away support, if you want us to win this league ….. or ….. just continue to be influenced by the meeja agenda

EK being on a baby face sub. Looks younger than James even
Forrest jumps out of a tackle again.
….and it’s back to Ronny now, as game winds up…………..
SMSM not getting their Carlsberg week then.
3 mins added on.
Brown and James crowded out
Billy Ogilvie’s heart will be beating with pride.
Me, as a Celtic fan….my heart has stopped beating
Christie down in box. No award
Efe to James who flicks it thru to GK
Christie and Alan shaking their heads .. They must surely be questionning their limited pitch time
I dont think Celtic really got out of first gear.H.H.
Dermot Desmond set to make his trademark rare appearance soon,
…………………
FT
FT 2-0 , will have to play better at Dens Park next week.
KT to Allan inside box. Cut back defended easily
Allen is a smart player.
You can see his heads up but the lack of movement in this team limiting his options
Great pass Tierney to Allen but poor cut back cleared
Dire performance

A desperately lethargic performance.
Goodnight Timland.
The highlight for me was when the commentator
mentioned the 95 CF when PVH scored the winner.
How we celebrated, the thinking among the Celtic
support was very different from today,we took
nothing for granted.

FT. 2-0
Only one outcome from this.
I’ve had a better time writing cheques.
ES and KT best on view IMHO

Managers rarely get sacked because of a lack of goals scored during a training session. So, I fully expect Ronny to be taking training again tomorrow…
Once again, as they did in last year’s LC semi, Celtic did just enough to win, without rubbing the lower team’s nose in it.
Well done EK, for a hard working, committed, but fair opposition.
