Even allowing for the opposition and the ” everything to lose” factor, we wee mince to day and this type of performance shows that there may be deeper issues within the camp.
Someone earlier was talking about watching the body language of RD and his team, there was no need to be an expert. His team spoke for him.

As I said before the game, getting into the next round was all that mattered, after the week we have had we were never going to get the performance we would have hoped for.
But we are in the draw on Monday.
Predictable non event of a game. Well done East Kilbride. The money will make a massive difference to their future.

Once again, as they did in last year’s LC semi, Celtic did just enough to win, without rubbing the lower team’s nose in it.
Well done EK, for a hard working, committed, but fair opposition.

We would have got very little credit today had we won 10-0.

very comfortable win but too many basic errors throughout the game. Forrest can’t pass, can’t shoot and doesn’t provide effort to compensate for these faults. Cant believe we don’t have a natural right back to cover for lustig. Positives , brown another 90 mins, mulgrew game time and Eric looks head and shoulder above the rest. I’d consider him in midfield once sumonovic returns.
Next game is huge for us and i have to say i’m concerned about our coaching staff!

Well done EK performed better than a full time zombie team did against us last season. Ronny on a hiding to nothing. Not the greatest performance by a Celtic team, not the worst, but if the double is won this game will only be remembered by the denizens of EK.

No penetration and zero off the ball movement
We do not resemble a team
When we really play no team in Scotland can live with us but when we play like we did today we are abysmal, pedestrian and unimaginative. Missed chance to give young lads an opportunity to show what they had to offer but RD chose to play old stagers.
Celtic Supporters need to start SUPPORTING and LIFTING the team, like the away support, if you want us to win this league ….. or ….. just continue to be influenced by the meeja agenda
