A journalist friend in Norway tells me Jo Inge Berget is a traditional no. 10, not a striker. We need both. Kris Commons fills the creative roll almost exclusively, we need someone to share the burden, but we still need a strong, penalty box striker, who can stand up to the pressures of Champions League football.
Best of luck to Tony Watt, best of luck to Standard too, who I hear have put a lot of skin in his contract. Belgium should give him a better chance of fulfilling his potential than anywhere in the UK. It’s head down and work hard time.

Just wanted to say that i think it is brilliant that we were drawn against Legia.
I may be made to have a change of heart once the game is over but it is amazing that some of the guys are goin to get to meet up with Zbyszek who has always came across as an absolute gent.
Have a great time together all of you.

Your Polish improved very much since we talked last time. Thank you.
To all.
My biased article on Legia supporters website.

Worst example of playing a player out of position was my works match, Scotland v England, Slaley Hall 2003. I played in goal(!) for the first half and let in three softest goals ever. I got out in the second and played in my preferred centre forward position. Scored three including a sublime overhead kick to equalise, then set up the fourth to win it. Forza Scozia!

No meantion of Majic Zurawski….. 8))
Match should be streamed live on CelticTV just as the Reykjavik match was. Preliminary rounds not treated the same way as CL proper. Site indicates streaming starts in 8 hours so should be live.
Morning peeps.
Getting taken to the Perth races today.
Any Tims going about, would be a pleasure to say hello.
Any tips from our online tipsters, any help appreciated.
Back in time for the Hoops tonight. Good day all round hopefully.

Majic Zurawski?
You remember what Legia steward told Oldtim67 when D. asked me question how Zurawski played for Legia? He never played for Legia and the steward said – Zurawski? Zurawski is a c……
Well I read the Statement from Rony this morning and he can certainly talk the talk I just hope he can walk the walk. H.H.

Guy in my work gets a tips sheet from a tipster.
Push Me
2.50 Perth (6pts win)
7-y-o mare, trained by Iain Jardine. 4 runs over hurdles last season, winning Kelso handicap in October. Had an exercise canter for today when winning Ayr handicap 2 days ago off flat mark of 72. Never off the bridle then and is thrown in here off rating of 91.
Mia’s Anthem
5.10 Perth (4pts e/w)
6-y-o trained in Ireland by Noel Kelly. Winner of handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter last season and has finished 4th on latest two starts over fences. Given too much to do last time out, when staying on nicely in the closing stages, again at Uttoxeter and with the second in that race having won since, can get off the mark over fences at the fourth attempt.

This Jeff Louis we’re linked to looks a good player… but another number 10. Possibly a long term Commons replacement. Looks like someone who sets up goals, has good agility and decent pace, and a venomous shot from outside the box.
I see tonights game as huge for Celtic as it is the first competitive match for Rony and his backroom staff.Playing friendlies can show you some things about your players but competitive games show much more.It is important for us to qualify for the CL group stages not only for the money that would generate but to make our season interesting if we get knocked out I fear it will be a very flat season indeed. Also in my opinion who we sell and who we bring in will be defined by wither we are in Europe or not and I am talking CL here not the lesser Europa League. So good Luck to Rony and the Bhoys for tonights big game.H.H.
Any tips on where I can watch the game in Arran tonight?
All this talk of a needing a number 10. Haven’t had a chance to read back but 860 comments in I take it someone has already cracked the one about needing a number 2?

BlantyreKev. Nope we left the childish blog to you .:- ) H.H.
blantyrekev – please, I beg you don’t start. I’ve been up ALL night with “tummy trouble” and don’t need the reminders. On the plus side I’ve lost 1.4 kgs in 24 hours.
Sadly seems I will be stuck with audio on Celtic tv as there is no way I’m giving Premier Sports my credit card details after my experience with Setanta. Perhaps I may find an accommodating butcher?
Tom, technically that’s a backsy. (Your number 2 is acting like a number 1)
