I read somewhere that he had reservations about going there, as he wanted to fe at a club that would further his career.
That sounds like us.
I don’t see him as in competition with Izzi, as Emelio would be more comfortable moving up one position.

There seems to be an accepted wisdom on here that as long as you declare to be a Celtic supporter, then you can state whatever you like, no matter how unfounded and anti Celtic it is.
Stuff that would have us spitting feathers if it came from a SMSM keyboard, is accepted because it comes from ” a good Cellic man”.
I am one of those perverse types who expect higher standards from Celtic supporters and manage to keep my negative thoughts to myself or share them in the intimate company of fellow supporters……not publicly on blogs, where the hacks fill their boots and their columns.

I’d suggest Malones at Forrest Road mate – big screens and usually a few tims when games are on. Last time I was there we played Hibs and it was mobbed. I think Desertbhoy was also looking for a drinking partner for tomorrow evening. I may go along – depending on childcare.

I will be sad to see him go down south,We at Celtic had him as a youngster prior to him going to Queens park.I think he would be a good addition to our team.He is one of those players who has benefitted from playing regularly,first with Queens Park then with Dundee United.I wish him well and hope that sometime in the future he wears the hoops.

Whilst the quality of the leading article is always good, is worth reading and discussing, the posting on CQN has become increasingly rancorous.
Perhaps Paul67 should introduce an IQ test for would be posters? Before anyone shouts “elitist!”, I only advocate a pass mark of double figures. This would, I’m sure, remove the few who have turned a once unmissable scroll through amusing, entertaining and often enlightening Celtic supporters chat into something more akin to watching a family fight at a wedding.
This benchmark would, of course, exclude me but I’m happy to do what I usually do, simply enjoy the thoughts/musings and occasional rants of the majority who made the site what it was.
Anyone know of a decent Hostelry in the Glasgow area where I can watch tomorrow night’s game?

Do you mind if I do a little “market test” given your regular match day attendance?
1. If it could be demonstrated to the non blogging support that the titles Rangers won in 1999 and 2003 were won using players paid by unlawful methods to pay them (irregular ebts) then would the support wish those titles removed?
2. If it could be demonstrated that Rangers concealed the unlawful ebts from the Lord Nimmo Smith enquiry (this misleading him) should those titles go to Celtic to serve justice?
