Kelvin Wison, decides to leave during pre-season. Stephen Mouyoloko as a replacement, Lustig can also play there and Big Virgil who was purchase will be the man also.
VW, we knew he was going to leave, and while we have not seen a one for one replacement, I believe there are players who can fill his role maybe not like Vic, but his like are few and far between.
Gary Hooper, same as Vic no direct replacement, but we have signed one Dutchman who will score and set them up and I believe we will have at least one maybe two strikers in by the deadline
Well what a day, the olde Arsenal lose first day ( a good sign ). My usual Arsenal for the EPL bet is already looking dodgy. :))
Delighted that Victor, Jos and Artur got their season off to a winning start.

I can understand why fans of the dead club were afraid of questioning anything (deep down they had to know about the cheating, and they learned not to question. But the old boys/see no evil routine is exactly how chancres like Murray, white, green etc. we’re able to fleece them).
But I don’t understand why some Celtic fans seem afraid of, or object to, anyone questioning our stewardship. It can only help Celtic.
Cheers.

Good afternoon CQNrs,
I*’m so looking forward to this season with Mouyookolo,Virgil and Rogic, suddenly we’re about to become a team that plays ‘football’ from the back.
No more humping aimless balls forward, all of a sudden we’ve got central defenders who can pick a pass and head a ball to their midfield.
We’re on our way……..

Forward Corporation Tax is writing off losses against future tax liabilities.
So if we record a profit this year, while not paying tax on it now,we will have forfeited that part of past liabilities.
So effectively we will be paying CT on it either now,or in the future.
Should we invest it,however,no tax is liable.
Please feel free to tell me at the start of September where our team has been improved since May.
And please also, read the effin balance sheet that you so proudly wave in my face.

The only way ANYONE can tell ANYONE how much ANY team has improved from the previous season at the start of a new season is if they are “effin” clairevoyant ….. We don’t know how our new players are going to turn out … that’s football !!!
Think, so far, we have made good signings, but it’s all a gamble ….. as I am sure you will agree, many teams have bought players for millions and they have turned out to be duds…..fortunately, we seem to be good at buying low and selling high ….HH

Just back from Aberdeen, a good solid performance that will hopefully set us up for Tuesday.
Big Steven strolled through the game, a cool head, could be a real find, a player who cost us squat, not that the “we must spend big” brigade will have noticed.
Only downside again the flares/ bangers. I got body searched twice before I got near the turnstiles so how did the police/security manage to miss those bringing them in?? Hopeless.

Enjoyed the game today..
As many of you know I attend most home games at Pittodrie but always relish watching my first and greatest love – Celtic.
Celtic certainly worthy winners today although greatly assisted by bad decision-making by the flawed Jamie Langfield.
It’s a bad rule imo – a penalty for sure but sending off effectively ruined the game as a contest – which conveniently afforded Celtic the opportunity to play some neat possession football in advance of the game midweek.
I thought Celtic played the retention game well. Great to watch Samaras as always – certainly not his best game but he just oozes technique and class. Commons similar but dreadfully lacking pace. Brown was decent, and Mulgrew played well under pressure from a hostile AFC crowd.
The new faces seemed to fit in well. Efe is an inigma – he makes some strange choices – definitely more of an athlete than a footballer. Izzy needs to get back to where he was as he has certainly dropped a bit.
In many ways today was the perfect preparations. Great to see a buzzing Pittodrie – again putting a lie to the rumours of Armageddon.
Greg Wylde is still a Hun – as he demonstrated with his unsporting performance today.
