I’m not sure about the use of triumphalism in the Rangers or NI Orange sense.
I think we all feel, victorious and even vindicated.
The accusations of paranoia can no longer be leveled against us after the liquidation of Rangers, the revelations of collusion within the football authorities and the continuing circus act downriver.
The internal battle now is on how the board can best use the position of strength to build a team capable of competing at CL level while maintaining a balance and a perspective of our relative financial weakness when compared to teams from Italy, Germany, Spain and England.
The eternal struggle between prudent investment and reckless spending.

I have no problem with anyone expressing their opinions. I don’t consider myself important enough that everyone should agree with me.
But not everyone on the blog has the best interests of Celtic at heart.
Although many people who constantly have a pop at the board are clearly Celtic fans, there are also some Zombies on here and they are pretty transparent in my opinion.
I think it is hysterical that posters go to the bother of creating a persona – although there is something creepy about it as well.
But each to their own. Nothing wrong with a good debate as long as it doesn’t get ugly

hamiltontim- around 4000 Celtic fans there today, yet only a few felt the urge to bring pyros jus to help the atmosphere.
The guy who let the flare off when the penalty was awarded was in section R only a few rows from the front. The belching smoke pretty much a give away on his exact location. If the police who were standing only yards away have not identified him then it will be negligence on a pretty impressive scale.
Jabba’s rants from the Sevco bunker are hilarious. He might have well just said ‘no-one likes us we dont care’. He is well suited to them the piece of sh**

Again, I agree with most of what you say.
I agree about the whole persona thing… as you may know, I had a disagreement with the blog’s resident persona, but he and I agreed to simply ignore each other … as you say, life is too short…
And I agree that some of the dissenters do not have Celtic’s best interest at heart… but I would say that equally applies to some of the (overly) happy clappers… you know the old line, the greatest lie the devil ever told was convincing the world that he doesn’t exist…
anyways, I’m not working today (in fact, this is probably the laziest day I have had in memory … I’ve already watched two games today… and I’m going to watch the second half of the man u game…
then I’m off out to enjoy this beautiful day here (sunny and 80 degrees)…

Thoroughly enjoyed the game today, although the dug is dismayed its back to being early out of her basket, with me shouting at the telly again in the early hours of the morning.

That is some distance to travel. Flight currently just passing north of Stockholm.

Good evening bhoys & ghirls. Excellent performance from the team today. We showed composure and patience and no little skill at Pittodrie where, I think, not many away teams will win this season.
Granted they were a man short for all of the 2nd half but we can only beat what’s put in front of us.
Let’s hope we don’t sell FF and that we bring a striker in. We could be a right good side this year.

I was in section R in the front row so you’ll obviously be aware that the smoke blew in our direction.
I’m not an advocate of smokes or bangers or flares being set off in football stadia but I will take exception when Celtic supporters are labelled as ‘fools’ and others express a desire to see them arrested. That’s pathetic.
I agreed with your post that it was a minor miracle that they managed to get past the searches with them.

For what it’s worth I can see away fans behaviour becoming an issue, because of the closure of section 111.
Not blaming the GB, which is a lot smaller in number than Celtic fans (or anyone else) believes.
It’s a tiny majority of flare throwers etc who hang on to the GB’s tails that are the problem.

Distance is about 3k miles.
Say 6 hours flight time.
Midnight CP time 5am Sunday in Kazakhstan. Give or take half an hour.
