Several people have referred to Willie Miller.
Any time I hear him, he talks sense and is fair.
I enjoy it when he gives Chic Young a showing -up.
Post ScotEng game midweek, Miller slapped him around a few times.
At one time he reminded Young that they were there to offer analysis not support.
I may not always agree with everything he says but one of him is worth any number of Youngs etc.

A penalty and a yellow card would suffice for a GK penalty challenge for me.

We have a rough target of collecting 100 names. I think we have around 60 (Canamalar1 can correct me).
We hope to get a response from Celtic regarding these issues and prompt them into taking action, as requested by their share-holders.
Please print this off, fill it in, scan the first page then return it by email to canamalar@yahoo.com
He will also answer by e-mail any questions you may have.
So a player rounds the keeper about to tap it in to an empty net and the keeper pulls him down. A yellow card (to a keeper a booking means nothing whatsoever!) and a penalty is given… the player steps up and misses the penalty or the keeper saves.
How is that fair?
What is to stop defenders and keepers pulling players down whenever they are about to score?
No. The rule is there for a reason and it is a good and sensible one.

PL’s remit to to work for the share-holders. As DD is the majority share-holder, PL’s remit is to do what DD wants. DD’s remit is to make money.
I don’t think it is ever wise to trust anyone. ESPECIALLY the SFA or business men. Actions speak louder than words.
I hope we get a fair and equal competition then my posts can be more fun focussed.

I enjoyed the whole spectacle today. Though Celtic did enough, especially after NFL tactical adjustment. Until then Aberdeen had competed well. Great to see a full house,I like Aberdeen and hope they are given some reward this season. Their manager is a smart guy and spoke accurately and fairly, despite his obvious disappointment. A likeable and real contrast to discredited predecessor.
Thought the referee did well, although he missed the “tackle” on Samaras, which lead to the goal !
