“Defence still scary as fook though. Be interesting to see what they’re like on grass. ”
I think we saw some of our defence under the influence of said substance at that late free kick.
After gifting them a goal and being cheated big time, make shift team, well happy.
Efe MoM
Well done big Efe! EOC did well too. Couple of scary moments during the game but all in all, a job well done! Now for big Kolo and Eric the Viking!
VFR800A8,
I thought your were told do one already, Muppet
Well Done Celtic, Great result, they are in for a hiding at CP next week where we can actually play football.
KLV
Great result well done would have been happy with 1-0 against.
good result on a poor pitch with all the travel etc…. but our standards are so low its tough to watch. we need to replace forrest and armstrong. we have no brains in the final third and give the ball away cheaply. the right back position is exposed with lack tackling ball winner. this team needs significant investment. Dembele looks unfit and cumbersome, i hope its lack of sharpness!
Ludicrous booking for brown, last minute, he is talked to by ref..instead of walking away he went and started shouting and point and goalie.. Yellow card for no reason. if he pout effort into playing then that would be better. Will never be missed when suspended
Great result from Brendan and the Bhoys. Are radio shortbread pukin’ yet? :)))))
VFR800A8
Are you a ……
Honda?
We will play better in europe and lose
But credit on getting a result given the adverse circumstances
Tie still in the balance
Great shift from Roberts Tierney O’Connell and the much maligned Ambrose
We should still be better prepared for these games
Kwality goal from The Griff to set things off.
MUST BE HOT THER HOME FANS THRO THEIR SCARFS AWAY HEE HEE
@JUDE2005 IS NEIL LENNON \O/ CG was like a flying swallow hit g a windae!
Advantage Celtic. Not a great performance by any means but one thing I take heart from is Astana lost their way a bit when we equalised. They could have won it in the last couple of minutes though.
Patrick Roberts my MOM, primarily for his role in our goal, and Eoghan O Connell did very well too.
An early goal and the lovely new pink jersey would be nice next Wednesday.
Good result, get out of Dodge and back to CP and finish the job.
As second half wore on it looked as if we were more solid and to get the goal was icing on the cake.
Worth seeing this goal again

Oh and that ref was an out and out cheat
Bought and paid for
Bet he has given Juventus many penalties in his time
NB made all the difference.
Single DM without SB next him for all the terrible square passes.
Looked interested and energetic for once.
EA is still a shambles.
Lucky to get away with losing his man in the box.
Looks lost times to the point of needing a social worker.
Excellent result.
The bonus.
Brendan will now see clearly the frailties in the team that played tonight and will be taking appropriate steps
Big Kolo is the start and a great one.
Easy game on Saturday should be good preparation for the big one at Paradise next Wednesday.
Two 2-0 wins and I’ll be a hoopy Bhoy.
GREENSIDEUP-GBWO you can jog on too
Awfy braw ….fecking nobbbled ref…..well done ….Griff the Biff …..Roberts superb….and the young lad done well at the back….Efe awfy braw motm……

@ SETTING FREE THE BEARS FOR RES. 12 & OSCAR KNOX – I was but I’m a Monster now!
Draws at home with Athletico, Benfica, Gala(canny spell it)….and Celtic…..thankfully they don’t travel well….quietly opTimisTic….we will do them at CP……but…..it seems some of our players are mentally weak…..and hide….when we go a goal down in an important tie…..this needs to be addressed…..

Good result and,for the most part, performance.O’Connell was outstanding.Ironic that we had pre-game centre half worries yet emerge with a young CH as standout.Room for improvement obviously and odd cardiac moments but more pluses than minuses.
Well done bhoys.
Well done Celts, did well to keep the score down despite some strange refereeing especially five minutes added on from nowhere.
Back up players did well in the end over the piece and we’re another step forward in BR’s era.
Still too many players making up the numbers only just filling a jersey that doesn’t shrink.
We need more quality at this level.
Well done Celtic. Good result on a poor pitch with a very fussy ref. Not the best performance but Bitton calmed the nerves when he came on.
Unleash Roberts and Forrest at them next week
Absolutely thrilled with result. We are in a great position, still a lot of work to do but we can beat this mob at home and guarantee ourselves 8 more European games.
Paddy Roberts is a special talent, mistake for goal both by O’Connell & Roberts but felt both redeemed themselves magnificently. O’Connell has a lot to learn but after today, I think we just might have a player there. The fact he is from Cork in no way comes into my assessment.
RoBert’s seems to be learning a bit about tracking back,, if it wasn’t for him stealing the ball off the guy that kid lumps out of him Griff doesn’the score

Looking forward to watching it on Celtic TV at 10pm.
Great result against a ref assisted direct to goal mob.
Keiron came up against a very good player and did well.
Roberts battled for the pass to wee Leighs one and only clear chance.
Well done BR good subs. only hoping now that Dembele is not a smaller version of Amodo Balde.
KTF
The introduction of Bitton I thought swung the game our way, I hope he stays and overcomes his hip problems. JF and TR also contributed to the result when they came on and that folks in game management.
O’Connell,Tierney and Paddy well played the young team and Craig Gordon kept us in it long enough to get the rust:)
Well played Celtic and well played Mr Rodgers..
Great result, especially with four central defenders and a couple of midfielders missing. Didn’t see first half but watched second half on ipad at work and thought we controlled possession without creating much.

Well done Celtic. Good result on a poor pitch with a very fussy ref when it suited him.
Great result away from home, posted last week Dembele looks unfit and cumbersome, SB why get involved at the end , if you could only concentrate and put as much effort into your play by passing forward and also not giving away needless free kicks. Efe being efe at the end nearly sold the jersey’s.
