  1. Seen more of Lee G in fifteen minutes than we did from Sepovic in 75,

Opportunity missed hopefully it won’t come back to bite us on the bum !

  2. 3 points there for the taking but it is also another game without defeat and keeps our run going!

  3. We seem to go through periods where we can’t make even the simple pass. Nerves. Can’t see why McGregor got a game never mind the whole 90 minutes, when we need the likes of Biton to get a grip of the ball.

  4. Well.. Well.. Well.

Draw, is not the Ideal.. but..Ah wull Tak it.

Disappointing second half……we’re still not fit….

  6. the glorious balance sheet on

We will have to beat Salzburg. Should make for a cracking game as Salzburg will be determined to try and win the group.

Hope Astra take something off Zagreb in their game. I don’t want us to be going to Zagreb on match day 6 with Zagreb knowing a win for them would put them through.

  7. cowiebhoy,

He’s been dreaming all night, he shouldn’t have been on the park, hasn’t had a good game for weeks.

  8. With regards to McGregor, if you’re good enough, you’re old enough. If you’ve not good enough, age is not an excuse. Has been a man down for weeks now and needs a long spell back with the u21′ s. Overall, a decent performance but the unforced errors in midfield are a real problem.

    Yeah Forgot.

Win the next match and we are through with a game to go.

  10. McGregor is not first team quality. Not a first team starter and RD needs to realise that.

Once again, game against inferior opposition fails to be closed out. Poor stuff.

  11. ….PFAyr, CowieBhoy, don’t disagree re Callum, positionally not great.

Perhaps Ronny wants James Forrest back playing in that position?

  12. mullet and co 2 on

Wasn’t much wrong there. Couple of slack passes great goal from them but we lacked killer touch up front. Beat Salzburg sigh and were through.

  13. Thanks for the updates, we would have taken 8 points from the first four games if the question was asked back in early September, so no complaints here.

Just come in. Read P13 and thought, ” Oh, no! We are being hammered by Astra!” I then discovered we had, in fact, got a draw away in Europe! I also read that RS was not being very positive about us! So, we were rubbish? RS was correct to say so? Expectations exceed ability? There are no rubbish sides in Europe and Celtic did well to get a draw? Unless we win by five, we have not been very good? We need a point from two games to qualify?

  15. Decent result.

    Nothing wrong with Sparky’s winner.

But I have to ask . . . Why does McGregor continue to get a game? Absolute rubbish and totally out of his depth.

  16. Disappointing 2nd half. Not for the first time this season we faded badly.

Worse than a man down playing McGregor for 90 minutes. Keeping wee Jamsie’s spot warm.

  17. Disappointed.

Don’t understand why we didn’t bring Biton on for the last 20 minutes. We couldn’t keep possession in the midfield. Honestly can’t remember McGregor being on the ball in the 2nd half.

    Oh well……

  18. Ray Singh-Carr on

Score a second and we’d have coasted home there. Never got going until they equalised. Scepovic should have been hooked earlier and Griffiths given more of a chance.

Still in our own hands but it could all have been so much easier.

  19. I had to break off at half time to defend myself and damn others work wise

I had to admit to being in the pub watching Celtic

That may be an own goal at the summit at 9am

    Do I care?

No . Celtic first, Celtic always

Remember that everyone, we ate feckin brilliant

  20. Colour Blind Bhoy on

Oh well, still in a decent space with 2 games to go, we will finish the job.

A wee bit annoyed that a very poor decision by the ref cost me £135 :-(

Well done Ronny, delighted for you that we are making good progress.

  21. 4 games played in champions league/ Europa cup and radio Scotland try and predict who we’ll get if we finish 2nd and everyone a top team, HUNbeliveable

Can UEFA take further action against the Astra player for the assault on Charlie. There was, in my opinion, intention to hurt the player.

  23. Awe_Naw_No_Annoni_Oan_Anaw_Noo on

Satisfied that we took four points from a team that we are only slightly better than. We still have tactical personnel and mental frailties. We are still very much a work in progress but that is another away draw, which is good to see. I do not think we have qualified yet and believe that Zagreb could take all 6 points if we do not start showing a bit more belief in what we are trying to accomplish. I still believe that is missing. Our passing , ball retention, decision making is atrocious STILL. We are not street wise. We can´t see a game out. The building of relationships is not happening. John Guidetti has helped soothe things over but the same old problems are there for all to see. It has been too long for us still to be getting the basics wrong. You cannot build relationships with loan players and players looking to leave and chopping and changing the team setup not just due to injuries but our poor recruitment over the last window. Broonie seems to play the same game every game.

  24. its a worry that delia doesn’t seem to know how to set a team up to stifle opponents – the indicators were there all night that the midfield did not have control of the game. mcgregor did little and that position could have been improved. This is juvenile management – we are getting away with it but lets be honest , our standards are dropping big time. For me , in order to play in celtics midfield , keeping the ball is essential!!!!! 1-1 look ok but i’m worried about our aspirations.

    Coney..,

Defender ducked out the way for their goal he should have been braver, the defence were all over the place to gift them it, naw it was a terrible goal to give away. Same could be said about our goal I suppose but the deflection made the difference.

  26. Scepovic —- wuz he actually playing? We have a disgraceful record in signing strikers in recent years. Who is responsible for such KRAP descision making? J.G is the exception but will we be able to keep him?

Beg to differ – Astra are rubbish -FACT

  28. We need somone to put their foot on the ball when we’re strugglin and calm it down

Would have taken a draw at the start in the conditions

    Still disappointed
