CELTIC have paid a wonderful Festive tribute to Lisbon Lion Bertie Auld in this year’s Christmas video.
It is a poignant reminder of ‘”the Celtic Family’s favourite storyteller” who recently passed away at the age of 83.
Hoops legend Auld, a much-loved character by the fans and everyone at Parkhead past and present, fronted last year’s Christmas Special by the club.
Ange Postecoglou and today’s players take centre stage with George Michael lookalike Filipe Jota impressing with his uncanny impersonation of the former Wham singer.
However, the undoubted star of the show is Wee Bertie – not for the first time the colourful Glaswegian has captured the spotlight while continuing to put a smile on the face of his millions of admirers worldwide.
Christmas is, of course, a time for giving and Bertie Auld lavished so many treasured memories on so many during his glorious Celtic career.
We will never see his like again.
