  1. MIT,

can’t really argue with that….credit where it’s due…..they are a good team….on this showing, I can’t believe they were pumped by PSG ;-))

    H.H.

    EXCUSES!

We should still be able to beat these paupers on their own ground!

Celtic should be able to beat everybody!

    Fact.

  3. CG yet again has kept the score down, and Gamboa for all his ills, has not hidden al night, unlike some.

  4. mike in toronto on

    Philbhoy …

dont blame me! A few days ago, I said we needed some height at the centreback position to cut out the crosses, and suggested that jamesgang and/or an tearmann take their boots to Munich and go straight into the team…

and clearly no one listened to me …

so we can either blame Brendan for not listening to me and not picking CQN’s two colussi, or them for not bringing their boots….

    ps ..

bet you didn’t know that the plural of colossus was colossi? Who needs that VFR and his word of the day!?

    :)

  5. Defending’s just no for us. Never have to do it, like Barca. Great strike from Tierney, save and off post – no corner.

  6. WE are a POT 4 team!

Against the POT 1 and POT 2 teams that can be obvious.

However, we have pumped a POT 3 team, so that’s a sign of improvement……..

……European football after Christmas is STILL a possibility.

    Lots to look forward to.

    C’MON THE CELTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Rome wasn’t built in a day . Every year we missed out on qualifying for the Champions league , the top ( richest ) clubs stepped further away from us . We are playing catch up & the suits won’t gamble when a fortune , for us is already guaranteed .

Why anyone would want 2nd place instead of 3rd is beyond me . Another humping or the chance to have a run in the Europa ? Reality check folks . We stood still for 3 years before Brendan arrived . The catch up will be a slow one but we’ll get there . Relax and think about the teams that didn’t qualify . It was always a race for 3rd place and 3rd place will still be progress . Keep the faith .
