Sad as it sounds, I was thinking anything less than 5 nil tonight would be bearable so I’m reasonably happy. I think we played well in parts and weren’t as overawed as we were against PSG.
I don’t remember a time when supporters were happy to see us not strengthen in required positions just because the opposition in one competition are so far ahead.
I always believed improving on what you have and strengthen in weaker positions was a good thing.
Apparently not anymore.
