In his Bookies Corner article for the current issue of CQN Magazine, columnist, Blinkered Views, suggested St Mirren offered good value for a punt on relegation. I spoke to him when he submitted the article and suggested, “Surely Dunfermline?” He agreed Dunfermline were most likely for the drop but they offered no value. St Mirren, on the other hand, were 9/1 for the drop and he made a good case why this was worth a bet.
St Mirren promptly spoiled Christmas for thousands (not your or me) by coming from behind to beat Rangers but that has been their only win in 8 league games. We also don’t need to be reminded that when visiting St Mirren Park, form is a poor guide. Celtic exited the Scottish Cup there a week after beating Saints 7-0 at Celtic Park. They are a team who can raise their game for the big occasion and the visit of Celtic, live on TV, is as big as it gets around Paisley.
Paddy McCourt has enjoyed his visits there and has been key to Celtic collecting the points a couple of times. Don’t be surprised if he makes a match winning appearance from the bench.

I think the guy who called the radio posts on here, so he would be better equipped to discuss that matter.
But there is no need to be a ‘hater’ under any circumstances. Constructive criticism will suffice when dealing with the Huns and their cheating ways.
We tend to leave ‘hatred’ to the other websites.
errr Happy New Year CQN!
How’s 2012 and the Naehun prophecies going?
BlantyreKev
could be tricky as oldtim is going to be on my back.
awe-naw
Was almost (but not quite) literally peeing masel laughing earlier at your edited Hateley article.
Because he and his phantom talk such mince, I genuinely couldnt work out what were your bits and what were his.
So I checked out said article and, to my surprise, discovered all the funny comments were made by him, not you!
Seriously, tho’, did think you had inserted the ‘bee in his beret’ remark!
I’m really enjoying their pain at the moment. Their desperate sadness seems to translate as hilarious madness!
I think you can retire for a while!
HH
Fair comment. Curbing my enthusiasm.
Keep your belt tight.

I did find it funny.
With Forrest fit for tomorrow, who drops out? Stokes? Sammi? Ledley? Wanyama? Obviously Brown won’t be dropped and I don’t think Hooper will either.
I would give Sammi a break.
Forster
Matthews Rogne Muilgrew Izaguirre
Brown Wanyama Ledley Forrest
Hooper Stokes
Subs. Zaluska Wilson Cha Commons Ki Samaras Keatings
Uly- the Bharal is a major food of the Snow Leopard
Are we looking to bringin the magnificent Snow Leopard on a Bosman?
Some may say that’s ambitious, but what if ‘minor foods’ of the ole Snow leopard incl. macaroon bars and the spearmint chewing gum?

‘constructive criticism’ Is that what they call ‘hatred’ in the posh houses?
Green tide
I hate them and everything they stand for, not going to deny it.

Ah, but remember how we talked of the mystical ‘Robbie Keane Seen at Ross Hall’ and that too came to pass – so might the enigmatic Snow Leopard.
Macaroon = Good
Chewing Gum = Bad, Dirty Bad!

How are you pal ? not seen you for a while. when are you next up?
Re the Thai Tims , although we initially expressed a desire to help it was felt that , logistically , it was beyond a group of our size. That’s not to say we still wouldn’t love to help but we’re just happy that they’re getting over and that the Celtic Family can , again , demonstrate why it’s the best in the world.
Hail Hail
Kevin
Funnily enough his contract expires at the end of January 2012.
Wouldn’t want him however as we have more than enough better players in his position.
Mort
Does 1 + 1 not also = Bernard (with a hard R) Ponsonby?
SonofDan,
I have been on the receiving end of their kind of dignity too often to turn the other cheek.
I know what Jesus would do….but
Dylan said…hate nothing but hatred.
Now, i like Jesus and i also like Dylan…..FIGHT!!

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Yeah, like who ?
Hail! Hail!
ok ok…..you’re John McKay…
There have been many players who failed at a new club, after being transferred for big money.
The weight of the expectancy from the fans proving too much.
I wonder how the Swedish boy will carry his name on his jersey at Ibrox?

I wouldn’t know…

I’ll name that tune in 2: Newsnight theme.
Captain Bob ???????
Robert Maxwell = Sir Skinty
I thought it was obvious LOl
Still laughing hard
I blame the lack of hun to skin on here BTW

Don’t slagg off Bernard Ponsonby…he is a Celtic man through and through. Shared a few pints with him in my time.
Len Brennan
Farid is interesting……indeed he is a proven hunskelper but so was our not so esteemed Kiwi striker. He fair rumbled them up when at Hibs but sadly could not replicate that form in the HOOPS. Sometimes the step up into the jersey that does not shrink is too much of a challenge.
That’s it…That’s the one
anywho….has celic signed yet and does his contract have a two week “cooling-off” period?
Liverpool thanks Scotland and Celtic for giving them Kenny Dalglish; Thailand thanks Scotland for giving them Reamonn Gormley; the world thanks Ireland and Brother Walfrid for giving humanity Celtic. I thank my God I was born in the shadows of guys like these.
