CELTIC are hoping to pass their Scottish Cup screen test when they travel to Ibrox on Saturday, April 17.

The Hoops will take on Steven Gerrard’s side in the fourth round encounter and it will be beamed live with a 4pm kick-off.

The holders, who are bidding for a record-breaking fifth successive triumph in the national competition, booked their spot with a 3-0 win over Falkirk at Parkhead on Saturday with James Forrest, Ryan Christie and Mohamed Elyounoussi claiming the second-half strikes. Twenty-four hours later, the Govan club overcame Cove Rangers 4-0.

John Kennedy takes his players into their fourth derby this season and the Hoops are still waiting for their first win after 2-0 and 1-0 home and away losses and a 1-1 draw in the east end of Glasgow last month in the Premiership.

Satellite sports channel Premier Sports have the screening rights as they did with the Celtic’s previous Cup-tie against the First Division leaders.

The other all-Premiership fourth round tie sees Aberdeen host Livingston and that match will kick off at 2pm on Sunday April 18 with Premier Sports again showing the action.

The other ties selected for TV will be shown live on BBC Scotland. Forfar host Dundee United at 7.45pm on Friday April 16 and Hibs travel to Stranraer in a 12.15pm kick-off on Saturday.

Other fourth round matches include Motherwell v Morton, St Mirren v Inverness, St Johnstone v Clyde and Kilmarnock v Montrose.
