I didn’t get everything I wanted from this week’s European ties, but extra time at Ibrox was top of my list. The script is written, althogh, you and I both know football is full of adlib moments. With a glance at the trophy cabinet, Ange might consider his instincts were right regarding Kyogo. If so, Giakoumakis is likely to start. Those three months, however, gave Ange time to ruminate. I expect the Greek to start on the bench.
Patience will be required. The game could last 120 minutes, if so, substitute decisions will be important. Oh, and please, tomorrow, practice from 12 yards……….

I was in the car park behind the Lisbon Lions stand after Celtic v Dundee earlier in the season. We were waiting to drive out but obviously had to wait until the crowds passed. Once they did, there was a gap and car drivers were wondering why they wouldn’t open the barrier. Then it appeared. A double line if young kids, led and trailed by adults, marching and chanting Celtic, Celtic. It was the Kano foundation.
My grandson said – who are those boys and girls. When I explained , he said – Can I go with them next time?

I like ma gambling … I very rarely put large amounts of money on Celtic as there is nothing worse than losing money and more hurtful Celtic losing….
