Celtic published a decent set of interim results this afternoon for the 6 months to 31 December 2015 but chairman, Ian Bankier’s address gets down to business with, “One the park, it has been a frustrating season”.
The sale of Virgil van Dijk contributed to a £12.6m income for player trading, balanced by £6.1m spent on the acquisition of Jozo Simunovic, Scott Allan, Saidy Janko Ryan Christie and Nadir Ciftci. This brought pre-tax profit to £11.7m, with cash in the bank at £7.7m (up from £5.3m a year earlier).
Turnover was up by an inch to £31.4m as the club traded at an operating profit for the period of £1.564m (before player trading). The second half of the year is devoid of European football income, not that the Europa League is that much of a game changer.
I know financial stability isn’t an end in itself, but it’s important nonetheless.

I have not saw much of young Christie, my confidence in Scott Allan comes from his attitude of at Least trying to force the play, what I have saw, even though not much he is willing to actually put the ball into space and make Leigh or whoever go for it, his first time pass at Stranraer for the third goal and more importantly his instinctive pass to put Leigh through one on one in the Ajax game, games at Celtic Park just now we need to break teams down and I think he has it, would be just as happy for Ryan Christie to do that but think Scott is due a run…..

Never said it wasn’t, all I asked was when did it become racist.
I have told the blog before that my friends here are not white, the brits here are arseholes, if that makes me a racist, fine, I can live with that, but it has nothing to do with their skin colour, I couldn’t give a toss what anyones skin colour is, it’s what comes out of their mouths I have a problem with.
