   Stubbs spot on – RECRUITMENT NEEDS TO BE BETTER – our recruitment has been diabolical! to the point where it doesn’t matter if we have giardiola as coach – you cant coach Ajeti into Larsson.

   The number of Aberdeen attacks which were started by Eddy losing ball,on numerous occasions,never really troubled Taylor, failing to pass to Soro last 5 mins was shocking.

    “First half, started well, some decent half chances, good wee positives somethings we have to tidy up. We got stretched in second half and got scrappy and couldn’t dominate. Been a tough week for the bhoys, legs went a little due to the stressful week. At times when not going well we have to grind it out and do what we did late second half, win those balls that comes in to the box. Players attitude was terrific.”

    JK did make changes which was a positive.

     

     

    McGregor missed the target with a great chance near the end.

     

     

    Eddy was his usual selfish self and a goal was a real possibility if he’d laid it off.

     

     

    JK has to shuffle the same pack so…………..reasonably happy.

    WGS generally talks sense but he went off on one there. What changes? 1. DOF 2. Head Coach 3. Set a strategy for the club. 4. No interference from CEO in football matters. Recruitment and identifying Signings part of DOF responsibilities. 5. Aim to bring youth through to 1st team. 6. Reduce wastage, i.e. too many squad fillers. Incentives with performance and result bonuses rather than high basic. Proper salary structure, e.g. low, middle, high earners according to contract stage and consistent performance. Probably enough to be going on with.

    amazing how when you question eddy’s commitment and his performances weeks ago and if we would get less than we paid for him , you get shot down in flames , all of a sudden everyone and their granny is moaning about him , he lacks the killer instinct and hunger to score goals at every opportunity that top striker’s have and any top manager would be raging at the attitude of the players laughing and joking with each other at full time , that’s the difference between winners and losers.

    Thought we were excellent first half. Klimala’s energy and movement created space and licence for Edouard to drift off the left.

     

     

    2nd half same issue as all season, poor fitness levels dictate less movement and tired passing. 21 year old Turnbull is one of the most culpable. First 60 minutes excellent then blowing out his backside.

     

     

    Fortunately we weren’t subjected to Rogic and Griffiths showing they are unable to last 30 minutes.

     

     

    Forget a Director of football, we need a decent fitness coach.

    We saw some glimpses in the first half of a better team effort and then we reverted back to same old same old. Teams are wise to Eddie’s propensity to want to dribble through everyone, which is fine if you can apply the end result but the more I see of his play the more disenchanted I feel. The failure to pass to Sorro at the end there is not what makes a good teammate, he should get a right rollicking for that, bonus money or no bonus money.

     

     

    I would try and get some of the young bhoys in for the Hun game, at least they’ll be hungry

    I used tae think sydney quim who only posted when we got beat, was our biggest critic on but PBS takes the biscuit, he posts win lose or draw with venom.

     

     

    Eddy and DT both suffered fae COVID, it affects people in different ways, some are long haulers.

     

     

    Some of our followers forget what being a supporter means, I could spend all day talking about the bad times but as far as I’m concerned there are no bad times supporting Celtic, just some are better than others.

    I don’t see a lack of application, overplaying yes, not clinical enough yes but both aspects can be improved with good coaching.

     

     

    Like James Forrest, you will only realise what Eddy brings to our team when he is not there.
