    This is sadly what I predicted. John Kennedy will not get a performance out of this squad. No one can. They are disgruntled about money. Like they want away from Celtic, they want to go down to England at double salaries as their agents have promised them. The want the riches Tierney Armstrong van dijk, Wanyama Forster all get.

     

     

    The also want the salaries that Elanoussi, Laxalt and Duffy are getting.

     

     

    These players think Celtic have cheated them and they won’t play.

     

     

    During the first half, the Celtic TV Commentator said that it was like watching a training game between a first team and Reserves. The second half was worse. Ajer kept them out on his own in a second half spell. He is exempt from Criticism even though he wants away.

    Why would Kilmala have one eye on their Goalie…He wasnt attempting to stick his Head in and risk injury…He went with his Left Foot….but there was maybe just a bit too much pace on the ball…..NOTHING to do with Paddy having an eye on the Goalie ?????

    I watched the game on Red TV with Rob McLean and Lee Mair commentating. I thought they were very fair and unbiased. They were ‘matter of fact’ about Celtic’s ability to hold the ball and always be a threat but they also could see that their team were not too far out of it. They pointed out that almost all the crosses into our box were a constant threat as we were panicky and the play ended through Dons final touch being of poor quality not because we stood tall. I found it interesting to hear the ‘other’ side.

    You are ‘on the money again’. The transfers of Armstrong & Tierney have had an unsettling effect on the team-mates they left behind.

     

     

    Imagine the salary stories the likes of Christie & McGregor will be hearing from the aforementioned two, plus the likes of Andy Roberson & McTominay.

     

     

    Playing for Celtic is now no more than a shop window for up and coming footballers. As we have seen this season the aspirations of the fans(i.e.10iar) is of little consequence to ambitious young men who feel that they are only auditioning for the riches of the EPL.

     

     

    So let’s forget about any return to European glory – it will not happen because we will not have the calibre of players in quantity, or, longevity, to deliver any kind of challenge.

     

     

    Our future lies in being the best of a bad/mediocre lot in Scotland with the highlight being the “Old Firm” clashes – sorry…sad but true.

    I watched a different game from some on here.

     

     

    McGregor’s rubbish. I thought he was terrific. Escaped his marker a lot. Missed a chance. Yep. That happens.

     

     

    Klimala no good? Played well. Non stop movement, created space for others. Control was good. Couldn’t quite get enough on a great cross from Kenny. ThT happens.

     

     

    Need some big defenders to combat these Aberdeen big guys. Aberdeen scored zero goals. Job done. But the keeper had to make a save. Hallelujah! We have a keeper who made a save. Fantastic.

     

     

    Did we create any chances other than Eddie’s goal. Damn tooting we did. Quite a few of them actually. Could have / should have had two in the last few minutes alone.

     

     

    Overall I thought the movement off the ball was vastly improved. And we got to the bye line a number of times on both wings and got decent crosses in.

     

     

    Not a scintillating performance by any means. But certainly a pretty good start to JKs short reign.
