    Brighton,have had 60 attempts on goal,20 on target,and scored 1 goal.Played very well today,missed 2 penalties,and lost 1-0.

    ST TAMS… I’ve been lucky enough to have spent time in the big mans (AT ) company, he’s a gem .

     

     

    I’m sure if i spent time over a beer with your goodself i would enjoy the chance to share views ……i’m my own biggest critic , therefore i find it easy to criticize Celtic when they fall way below MY 😊 expectations .

    This has been one Cnut of a season

    I still love Neil Lennon but totally understand others point of views

    20 year old steven welsh has done very well since coming into the team. He is not particularly tall but he wins far more than he losses in the air. He gets very tight to his man at set plays so it’s rare his man gets a free header, he seems to read the game well and he keeps it simple. He has got rolled to easily a couple of times and he has also had a few sweep at nothing. The latter 2 areas of his game need articular attention.

     

     

    However, this is his first run at first team football in the scottish premier league. At 20 years old he has the foundations to become a good centre back. Right now I would play him ahead of duffy and bitton at centreback.

     

     

    In january jullian was injuries and we were told 6 months to 9 months so june or Sept. Lennon was interviewed and said julian’s injury was stated time. Now people saying out of off 2021, that is just wrong and is often used to make everything look worse for next season.

     

     

    For what it’s worth, I reckon we need 5 perhaps 6 (goalie) first team starters to add to what will be left of our team after Hendry, Duffy, Ajer, Boli, Laxell, Kelly, bitton, Ntcham, Christie, Eduard, bayo, Hazard, Perez, gutman, Dembelle, Oxo flex leave.

     

     

    Gk – Barkas, bain, doolan

     

    Rb – o’conner, new x 1 starter

     

    Lb – taylor, new x 1 starter

     

    CB – jullien, Welsh, Hjaiti (17 year old playing first team at ross county) new × 1 starter,

     

    Cm – turnbull, soro, mcgregor, brown (1 year only) connoll, robertson, henderson, shaw

     

    Rw – forrest, shved (deserves a chance)

     

    Lw – johnson, new x 1 starter

     

    Cf – ajeti, griff, klimala, new x 1 starter

     

     

    Physical prerequisite: all new players must have pace, strength, stamina, work ethic, determination.

    I see Gordon Strachan is excoriating young Soro and Eddie for that mishap of Eddie not passing to Soro who had a better chance of scoring. What did Strachan take exception to? They were guilty of laughing at the mishap rather than Soro falling out with Eddie after a punch up. Exactly why I think people like Gordon Strachan need to stay away from Celtic in any official position: he has not a clue about the modern game and cultural differences. His argument is that two Scots would have had a bust up as they did in his day (his point of reference) and hence anyone in that position who doesn’t have a bust doesn’t have his heart in it.

    He was just one of The Bhoys on here who was happy to go out of his way to help me get Food etc, at the start of this Pandemic 11 months ago, due to me being Disabled and Tesco delivery Service being overrun by selfish folk ” Panic Buying”.

    Different eras mate,Scottish teams were full of good players then,I wouldn’t buy anyone playing in the SPFL right now, if we fill the team full of journeymen, we will get nowhere, Gallagher, O’Donnell, Porteous,Ferguson, ive seen mentioned, nowhere near good enough.

    Wouldn’t surprise me but Mr Maloney strikes me as someone who keeps an open mind on things, he should , he also left Celtic twice , not someone who settles in and stays anywhere, conversely he is someone who pushes himself through new experiences and learning.
