  1. Another late late show today.

    Well done to the buckateers

and all those who stayed to the end.

As for our striker today ?

    Dearie me.

    To say he was ineffectual

would be to pay him a compliment.

But 3 points will do for me.

  2. Anyone at the Columba Club Coatbridge last night,I heard there were a lot of Fanad people there.A good night?

  3. The person who started the rumour that the Three Bucketeers allocated to the Kerrydale Suite were sent there because they were a/ the ugliest or b/ the oldest or c/ the most liable to be in need of strong drink is well of the mark.

The Three (Lounge Lizard) Bucketeers in the Kerrydale did a great job under very trying conditions and refused all offers of strong drink.

Cowiebhoy , handover failed to happen . Call me .

Once again , the unity and generosity of Celtic fans humbled me today. As every campaign needs ringleaders , a massive HH to Eddie , Jeanette , CRC , Minx1888 , HamiltonTim , TTTT , Mouldy , LeftClickTic , Captain Moonlight and everyone else who I’ve failed to mention but who were instrumental in another successful fund-raiser .

Can you pass on my thanks for the help today think you mentioned SMB :))

    Till later all

Ps goldy coloured vest or not :)) the fans must have noticed the smiles on the faces of the vest wearers today rather than the usual happy lot that steward our stadium. with a few exceptions of course.

  12. Well done to to Team 1 today which I was fortunate enough to be in Captained by our very own Hamiltontintim, who nearly was demoted after giving us orange vests to wear ” Minx get him sorted” :) ,A chorus of you can stick yer orange vests were the sun don’t shine” being polite there” calmed the situation before there was a rebellion:))

Great to see a few well kent faces from the Blog as well today doing the buckets & in our team leftclick,Big Nan, VoguePunter, Lionsroar67,Mountblowtim,Jimbob? apologies to anyone I have missed

Ps we won 3-1 in a exciting game that looked like it was heading for a draw, next up AC Milan, a great end to a great day

  13. Sannabhoy supporting Resolution 12 with a YES vote

point taken, i’ll refrain from naughty words, any chance you can have a word with those persons on this site who spend all their time vilifying good celtic folk as I find that equally if not more offensive given the personal attacks on guys like pl, dd, nl oor pukki etc…

Couldnt make it myself but i know a few who did and for sure many donegal/fanad people attended!

  16. Great to see all the volunteers with the buckets today, felt proud as punch giving the wee ghirl beside the ticket office a fiver then felt like a right twat walking by about another 10 going to the turnstile. I should have brought 10 x 50p.

More seriously getting a bit worried about our finishing Department, would like to see us signing the young lad May from St Johnstone.

    Hail Hail

  17. paolosboots Good Luck Wee Oscar on

I was living in Ireland when there was a collection for Kano, the Middle East for wee Oscar but even being away I felt a small part of something on CQN where people that were passionate about their club showed how they cared for their own!

I was involved today & would like to thank CRC (the Gaffer) ,HT, Minx1888 who I know and apologies to the others i’ve missed out for the huge amount of work they put into organizing today. Also the other bucketeers young, old & especially the youngsters who it like ducks to water & played their part admirably.

A special mention for Captain Moonlight a nicer guy you couldn’t have working with you, & we enjoyed the craic with the fans as they streamed past. I couldn’t help being completely humbled by the Celtic support & that’s what they did, support on & off the park today. A huge thank you to those that contributed to my bucket, the majority of fans in my opinion put themselves in the position of their counterparts & dug deep for them, you were not found wanting in your generousity. To use MON words it was astonishing, absolutely astonishing, but you as fellow Celtic supporters already know you are!!!

Was proud to be a fan today.

  18. Aberdeen ….always have had respect for their team and fans( due to healthy disrespect

for yon deid team) but the J Saville song was out of order ,you do not make fun of tragedy.

Sorry for posting late on the black pudding discussion, but anyone who has lived for any length of time in the north-west of England knows that Bury black pudding is the nonpareil.

I used to sit in 118 beside the away fans and heard enough songs from that mob and many othe clubs.

Surprised our club turned the area into a kindergarden.

    Dear fellow CQNers.

Long shot but does anyone out there know a Mr J Murphy who lost their season ticket today? North stand lower. Is there a protocol for this?

Almost felt sorry for them sheep supporters tonight.

Post it/hand it in to the Ticket Office won be the best bet.

  24. Although he missed was anyone else impressed with sammis fantastic controlled collection of chaz’s long ball holding off the defenders, being cool enough to flick past the keeper but….hit the post!

Yes mate, he had a similar take in the first half (without a shot on goal) with one of the Dons’ defenders in close proximity. Real class from Giorgios.
